My wife and I have 2 large dogs that like to wreak havoc all over our house. They rarely have accidents, but when they do it always seems to be on a rug. In the past we have purchased expensive rugs and over time learned this made absolutely no sense for us. A few months ago when we needed a new rug for the living room my wife came up with this one which looked nice enough and was very reasonably priced. We both had our doubts but bought this one and we haven’t been disappointed! - Quality of this rug is pretty good, especially considering the price. I expect this will last several years based one what I have seen so far. This rug is very short like carpet almost felt like which we were concerned with when we first saw it, but now that we have it we actually like this. It feels really nice to walk on. - Cleaning this rug is dead simple and doing so doesn’t damage it or change the appearance much if at all. This was an important one for us since we have 2 dogs. - Appearance is nice and looks good with the rest of our decor We would definitely buy this again if we ever need another rug. ... show more

This is a very nice rug. Soft, nice design and back doesn't slip. Easy to wash and when I dried it, I did the air dry setting on my dryer a few times and then once on delicate to get most of the wetness. Hung dry a few hours to finish. Came out great!

I honestly don’t write reviews much but I have to hype up this rug because it’s a steal. I was very close to ordering a Ruggable rug 3x the cost of this one and I’m so glad I didn’t. It’s extremely soft, stays in place perfectly without a rug pad, and cleans so easily! I’ve surface cleaned it with a wet cloth and I just tried it in my washing machine today. It washed & dried perfectly (I do have a larger machine, so maybe consider this). Any wrinkles after being in the dryer or when it comes out of the package smooth out within a few hours. The pattern is not my favorite but it’s neutral enough to blend in with any decor. And it’s not thick or plush but no machine-washable rug is going to be, so it doesn’t bother me! I don’t write amazon reviews often, but I wanted to write one on this to help people who are trying to decide if this rug is worth buying and looks like the picture. I have 2 toddler boys, so I was hesitant to purchase this because it’s such a light colored rug, but I’ve been wanting to try a washable rug for a while. It looks exactly like the picture and looks great in my living room. It’s a thin rug, but very soft. It doesn’t have pile like carpet, it’s almost like a soft felt material. There have already been a couple spills on mine and my son drew on it with a marker but I was able to wipe it off with a wet rag. It wipes up very nicely. I haven’t tried washing it in a washing machine yet, so I can’t attest to how well it holds up in a washing machine. But so far I’m pretty happy with this rug and think it was a good purchase. Also, it comes folded and when you first lay it out it has creases in it. I left mine flat on the floor and within a couple of days the creases were gone. Rug is so buttery soft!! hides dog hair, golden glitter is everywhere in my house! We had the rug out for 4 days and you don't see the "golden glitter" on the rug. My 2 year old dropped her drink on the rug and her drink beaded up!!! I was so amazed!!

Had a slight chemical smell when first opened but when away quickly. I didn’t expect how soft this rug would be. My kids love it! It does show every little line and footprint. After vacuuming that is kinda fun but after use kinda looks odd. (See photo). It is really easy to clean and water almost beads up on it and is easy to wipe up. I think it will hold up well.     • Love the rug but not for high traffic areas

I love this rug for so may reasons but it isn't great in high traffic. It needs to be in a guest bedroom or somewhere that doesn't get daily use. You cannot vacuum the rug with a normal vacuum cleaner as it sucks up the rug. I can use my dust buster or my Shark robot vacuum. I have washed the rug once and it came out great! I was able to fit it in my washing machine at home, tight fit but it fit. It is very heavy when wet but it dried well. I have 2 dogs and I typically vacuum daily so not being able to vacuum this area with the dog hair is frustrating. That being said, if I didn't have dogs and if it wasn't in a high traffic area this is an excellent rug! It is super soft and washes well! ... show more

We have really enjoyed this rug so far. I haven’t tried to put it in the washer though.. I’m worried it will be way too big (8x10). It is very soft, and we’ve loved the light colors. Even though it is a light color, it hides stains and pet hair really well. That brings me too the reason it’s only four stars. It hides pet hair really well and it’s been a little difficult to clean pet hair off of too. The Dyson won’t vacuum this rug because it’s too soft. I have to get a special attachment on my big vacuum out to do it. The robot vacuum will go over this well, but doesn’t clean the pet hair very effectively.
