It was pretty and comfortable the cotton part of the dress was very soft. I do agree use the size chart given in terms of measurements to get your true size, for the best fit. I normally would not be an XXL however based on the measurements I was for this particular dress. And it fit very well. So definitely go by the measurements given in the chart ... show more

The dress is well worth the cost. I Ordered XL - the fit was GOOD but the skirt hit 2 inches above my knees. XXL might have been a better choice. Will keep this dress (love it) and order another in a different color XXL

I attended a wedding and the invitation stated formal. Once at the wedding I noticed that the bridesmaids wore the same burgundy color as my dress. This dress was very comfortable. I am 5’ tall, 145 pounds and a large fit me fine due to my large breasts. No hemming needed and dress is one piece.
