  • Best headstrap that I’ve ever seen on the market by far
The headstrap comes in a deceivingly small and compact package considering how large the headstrap is. The instructions are very clear and most people that have had experience with replacing the Quest’s headstrap can do it without reading the manual. The headstrap is unbelievably comfortable and puts very little pressure on your face as advertised. It supports your forehead, the top of your head, and the back of your head with foam similar or the exact same as what VRCover uses for their face interfaces. The batteries are very effective at balancing the weight of the headset which makes it even more comfortable. Since there is very little weight on your face, fogging doesn’t happen very often. No matter how much I tightened the headstrap, it remained comfortable and enjoyable to wear. In fact, I recommend you tighten it as much as you can because it drastically improves the experience. The headstrap also allowed for the iconic flip-up mechanic that the Vive Cosmos introduced. This headstrap takes everything that we’ve learned about headstraps and combines it all into a singular, beautiful headstrap. All in all, this headstrap is essentially perfect for most use cases. The batteries come within a separate box contained in the box of the headstrap. That box contains the 2 batteries, a charging pad, a stick pad for the charging pad (for if you want to place the charging pad on a wall or on a surface that isn’t flat. It can stick onto seemingly any surface and still hold the weight of the charging pad, the batteries, and more), and 2 USB-C to USB-C cables of different lengths. The charging pad works perfectly and so do the batteries. The batteries are mounted onto the charging pad and headset with a strong magnet which may seem like an issue but I can assure you that it is not. In fact, because it’s mounted using a magnet, it allows for easy battery swapping. When I mounted a battery onto the headset and violently shook my head around, the battery did not budge what-so-ever. I cannot imagine a (humanly possible) head movement that can knock the battery off of the headstrap. All in all, this headstrap is, in my opinion, the best headstrap for the Quest 2 out on the market and by a lot. The packaging is good, it is comfortable, and it is built well. The only 3 things that I can think of which could make this headstrap better is if it came with detachable and flexible off-ear speakers similar to the speakers of the Valve Index, a dial on the side of the headstrap to adjust how much the sides push on your head (with additional cushioning on the sides of the headstrap), and 1 or 2 charger heads for the USB-C cables. I urge you to buy this headstrap. You won’t regret it. ... show more

  • Everything you're hoping it is.
I'm used to mid-tier products, but this is absolutely not one of them. It literally does everything it says. Whoever designed this was some kind of engineer. The magnetic batteries are very lightweight, and magnetically snap-on exactly as you would hope they would, with audio cues provided the Quest 2 easily confirming they're on there. As simple as can be. The headset itself takes a couple minutes to assemble, but it's pretty straightforward. It alleviates all of the burden that awful Quest 2 strap comes with, and can be taken off without any strain at all. It's also very, very easy to adjust to one's head. The key is to align your eyes with the Quest, place the back head rest down, and then just tighten the knob (very fine-tuned knob too, by the way, not hard and rigid at all). Very simple, takes like 2 seconds. Overall, and surprisingly, exactly as good as I was hoping it would be. No janky, awkward, third-party designs here (though it one may get this impression). This thing is legitimately comfortable, easy as hell to adjust, the batteries are lightweight and snap-on effortlessly, etc. Not to mention very affordable, generally speaking. Just a quality product. ... show more

  • This thing is cool. Period.
I like the ease of use. Of being able to swap batteries on the fly. It’s super comfy. And adjustable in many ways. It also can with swappable parts for the back of the head. Silicone. But I’m keeping the soft stuff on. I like it. I like it a lot. All in all. It’s very well made. And I look forward to being comfy in vr. ... show more

  • This is how the Meta Quest 2 should come!
I don't write many reviews but this product deserved one. Every aspect of this product was well thought out and every concern I had, they obviously thought of and engineered accordingly. The strap and pad fitment from myself, to my wife, and my youngest kid is adjustable enough and comfortable enough for all. We have 3 people that wear glasses and the pressure no longer being on your face, but to your forehead and rear of your head not only makes fitment and long term wear much more comfortable, but those that wear glasses have a much easier time as well. The batteries install quickly with magnets and that was a concern of mine whether the magnets would hold up. Yep, they are strong enough for even active play styles with the headset and will not move, yet it makes a hot swap of batteries quick and easy without even removing the headset. Battery life is essentially endless. With the convient charging station, you always have one charging, the one installed keeps the headset at 100% while playing, and you swap the BoboVR batteries only. It is well made and quality material as well. It install like a factory piece and even looks like it is a factory Meta accessory. Too be honest, I'm only frustrated with Meta that their factory solution or an upgrade option isn't like the BoboVR head strap. If you're debating which strap or battery solution, do not second guess this one. Just buy it! Well worth the cost for the solution they offer. ... show more

  • Great battery extention.
Had meta 2 elite strap. the cheap plastic strap broke. This BOBOVR M2 Plus Head Strap, sturdy enough. Two battery is enough juice & and comfort is good. Only Con. It doesn't show seperate 'extended battery status' as elite strap does in meta 2. only just as main battery 'charging' or keeping it 100%. ... show more

  • Awesome way to extend playtime
The Quest 2 VR headset has maybe a half hour worth of battery life. Also the strap that comes with it becomes very uncomfortable and feels like it’s pushing into your face. This setup is much more comfortable and not as bulky as it looks. You can easily put another battery on with the magnetic battery hookup feature without taking the headset off. Would definitely recommend. I bought extra batteries so I can play a lot longer now. ... show more
