After using embroidery thread in the bobbin for E2E quilting, apparently I realllly messed up the bobbin case for my ancient (and discontinued because it is a finicky machine!) Brother Designio DZ820E. I adjusted for hours before deciding to just buy a new bobbin casing for embroidery designs and keeping the old one for E2E quilting. Wa-la! Could not be happier with this bobbin case. Dropped it in with a new bobbin, adjusting the top tension back to where it was before I used embroidery thread and it is working like a charm. I have over 2 million stitches on my PE700ii and was having tension issues which I knew was related to my original bobbin case. Straight from the package the tension was not near tight enough. As stated from a previous reviewer, there is a blue/green substance over the tension screw. I just took a straight pin and picked it off easily, then tightened up my bobbin slightly and tested my design. It took me about 3 times until I got the tension just right and so far it is working great! Pleased I got a bobbin for so much cheaper than going through the Brother website! Will recommend to my fellow Brother embroidery friends! ... show more

This fits my PE770 perfectly. Fixed the issues with looping top threads and top thread pulling though to the entire back side. My factory installed bobbin had issues from first stitch. No more bad stitching. Perfect fix!!!!

Tension wasn't correct and kept showing my bobbin thread on the top of my project. I ordered this bobbin case because the brush on my original case was messed up so I removed the brush from this defective casing then attached it to my original casing, now it works perfectly. I hate it though that I had to pay over $9 for a little brush. I would not order this product again it doesn't work in my Brother PE770. ... show more
