I really wish I hadn’t made this purchase. The juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. I really haven’t notice where my boat is more buoyant, and top end has bee reduced by the amount of drag. I used the medium size beaver tails on a 18 ft Lowe roughneck 1860, 90 hp Suzuki out board. I really feel Like I should have went with the large rather than the medium. The angle of the side and the bottom rake angle fit my Lowe Roughneck perfectly, with just the right rise to the rear (1/2"). They are well-made and strong enough to stand on (I attached my swim platform/ladder to the left-hand pod), and they solved the problem I was having with my stern riding too low and the boat not wanting to plane.
