I don’t have anyone that would be willing to spend a outrageous amount of time to put together a vanity with me so I built this myself it will take some muscle and a lot of willpower bear with me. So for starters the directions are near useless I’m not going to lie to you a lot of it was improvising there is a barcode on the directions which you might be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer. The numbers which are pictured are very light and hard to see each piece of wood does not have a number at least mine did not there were a couple of pieces that did not have numbers and I kind of had to assemble everything else before realizing where they went you will need a screwdriver but for the most part you will be using a Allen wrench which is provided. The lights are press on lights which I thought would bother me but they don’t. The lights have a dimming option as well as two warmer shades you can switch to. As far as placement you want to put three lights on one side for lights on the top and three lights on the other side the ones that go across the bottom you should be able to figure out relatively easily. The lights come with a USB and not a wall plug-in so you will need to get a wall adapter. The drawers that are horizontal at the top are smaller than the ones that are on the side which are the four larger drawers. I did end up with a few knickknacks left in the pack of nails because they were not in the directions whatsoever I’m not harping on that since the vanity overall feels pretty sturdy be advise it is not real wood it is press board and if you are too rough with it it will snap or crumble which is super annoying. The glass that sits on the top does give you a wonderful view of the things that are in the top drawer be mindful also there is a little bit of gaps space so If your like me and you like to lean your arm on that glass try not to slide that glass back-and-forth because you will pinch your skin. The mirror has a beautiful even image sometimes I find that mirrors that have been shipped have a little bit of distortion just from bending in the shipping a little bit but the mirror overall is awesome. As far as assembly time doing it solo I took from 10 P.m. to 1 AM which allowed me the time to assemble everything except for the drawers which took me another 2 1/2 hours. Overall putting this vanity together was excruciatingly frustrating bearing in mind however I did put this together by myself the finished product is wonderful as far as product price point i’ve seen people selling similar vanities for 699 so I do feel like you’re still getting a good bit for your money. If you start feeling like throwing the entire thing in the garbage you’re probably close to finishing the entire thing so hang in there grab a Capri Sun or a vodka spritz and take a break. This did take a bit to assemble but for the price and value of the desk it was worth the purchase. Instructions were fairly easy to follow, had no issues assembling this and love the way it looks. The LEDS are SUPER bright and light up everything in the entire room

My 16yo picked this out as a new vanity for her room. It arrived quickly via FedEx in 3 boxes (two with the parts and one with the lights). The instructions say it’s a 2 person job, but I was able to do 98% of it myself as a 5’4” 125 lb woman. The only part I needed help with was lifting the completed top (with mirror) onto the base (drawer unit). That was not anything I could have done on my own. I added a picture with approximate dimensions as we wanted to order a chair for it but didn’t know how much space there would be for one from the description on Amazon. There are 3 shorter drawers that go across the top and 3 deeper drawers down the right side. The shorter drawers measure 12.75” x 13.125” x 2.625” high on the inside. The deeper drawers measure 12.75” x 13.125” x 4.25” high on the inside. The working surface of the vanity is 13” by 47.5” and has a glass overlay. The mirror is already attached to the top part, which was honestly a relief. As far as the materials go…it’s not the best quality, so you get what you pay for. The outside has a glossy sheen to it, which makes it look nicer than it is. I recommend replacing the drawer pulls as they are cheap white plastic and will likely not last long. The manufacturer stamped the numbers in terrible spots (see pics) as the numbers are still visible once it’s put together. I’m not sure if a magic eraser will remove them or if we are stuck staring at them forever. I’m worried about the magic eraser taking the finish off the particle board, so I haven’t tried yet. The only issue that came with it was a crack along one of the holes where the lights go through (see pic). Other than that, everything was in good condition. We ended up attaching the drawer slides to the bottom of the drawers instead of the sides because the screws wouldn’t go deep enough to provide a smooth slide. The drawer would catch when pushing in or pulling out. I have no idea the longevity of doing that as the raw particle board it’s screwed into on the bottom may not hold up long without splitting. It was a chance we had to take. There were also some issues with the board that splits the two shorter drawers on the left. It’s almost like it was made opposite of how it should have been. I was able to do it the right way and the drawers lined up well. There are twelve bulbs and you can have the light switch be on either the left or right side, depending on where your plug-in is. We used a 3M strip to attach it to the side so it would be within easy reach when sitting at the vanity. The separators that came with it should be able to be used in any of the drawers, but there is only one set. My kid is happy with the end result, so I’m happy. ... show more

It’s like putting a Lego piece together. A million pieces & the protectant foam it comes in is shredded & all over the place. Even all stuck in between the wood and creases. Most annoying thing ever. Def took me about 4 days. I put it together alone. With my drill. A lot of the pieces on the wood only have tiny dots on them. So u basically are making your own holes on the dots. A lot of the holes for the screws weren’t pre started at all. Hence cracking in the wood & misalignments. The back board that supports it is very weak & easily damagable. I would pay a couple hundred more to avoid all this issues I have currently that got ruined during installation. It’s super pretty when it’s all said & done. & the light quality is amazing! Not dimmable tho. I still would rather pay more to avoid the extra stress it gave me. I’m def not keeping it when I move. It won’t last. ... show more

I bought this vanity for myself for my graduation and it’s by far the nicest addition to my room. It definitely takes a lot of patience to build (took my dad about 6 hours) but when you’re done it looks stunning. It did come with very minor scratches but nothing horrible.
