These filters appear to be good quality, and they're affordable. The filament looks to be of good quality. The pleats are made of good material and effectively trap small particles and dirt. When ready to change out, it comes out and you can see the filtration is successful and the particles are evenly spread across the filter. Airflow is ample and unrestricted, with minimal noise and no whistle, unlike higher MERV filters. The build quality is solid and even surpasses that of more expensive name-brand filters. Seem to be good quality. I will know once I get my Replacement Filters since the first pack of 6 was Damaged in shipping/transit. Received with one of box crushed, caved in and 2 our 6 filters partially crushed on one end. Had to return all 6.

Put this filter on our 2.5 ton package a/c unit back in August last year. The filter fits well and we changed it 9 months later in June when we started up our a/c for the year. After 9 months I was expecting a grey dusty mess in the filter pleats but it was suprisingly clean. We live in a windy area of Southern California where the Santa Ana winds kick up plenty of dust in the late Summer/Fall. Our previous filters had a lower MERV rating but the MERV 11 on these didn't affect the efficiency or performance of our heating or a/c. After using the filter for 90 days this is my review. The pleats on the filter seems to be of good material and trapped a good amount of small particle dirt. The filter allows an ample amount of air flow and is not restricted. There is not a lot of noise or whistle as noticed with higher MERV filters. The cardboard frame on the filter in my opinion needs to be a little thicker. It was slightly concaved after the initial use. It never folded in the 90 days but I think it needs to be a little sturdier. The wire mesh on the back side of the pleats held up very well. All in all I think the filter is on par with others in the same price range. I will continue to use the filters and update if anything comes up out of the ordinary. ... show more
