This bed really is an amazing value for the money. It was easy to put together, directions were clear and there really weren't all that many parts. It's real wood, and it is stunning. It does not squeak, at all, and it feels so much more expensive then it is. I was honestly shocked. The supports are metal which is a really nice upgrade and the velcro for the slats is much more secure than any other platform bed I've put together. I am so happy I took a chance on this...I was not expecting such great quality for under $400. I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but I’m in the middle of building this bed, and I felt compelled to write. First off, I was blown away by the quality for the price. The wood is solid, sturdy, and has a beautiful natural shine. Second, the packaging was so streamlined, and everything was clearly labeled. The stickers labeling each part were even facing inward, so you don’t have to worry about peeling off the stickers and having residue stickiness because they’re all facing a direction that will never be seen when assembly is complete. Additionally, the instructions couldn’t be more clear! All to say, I thought this would take me hours to build, and I’m about half way through and it’s been 15 minutes. Love this headboard and the stain colors of the wood. It’s very heavy real wood. Easy to assemble. The legs are really short. So short that none of my under bed storage boxes will fit. Overall it’s nice, worth the price.
