This product has a superior look and feel. I enjoy the engineering and manufacturing that went into this umbrella. At first it seemed a bit large given that I was used to cheaply made but collapsible umbrellas extracted from my briefcase. But the first time I opened it during the middle of a pretty good storm I felt extremely confident that I had made the right purchase decision. It's also easy to walk with a friend and everyone including their computer bags etc stays dry. An umbrella that will last upwards of three years if properly maintained. Comes with a 2 year warranty and the umbrella definitely is sturdy and even lighter than the last Blunt umbrella it’s replacing.

After using this umbrella only three times the handle broke off (see picture). Had to spend a significant amount of money (almost half the cost of the umbrella in the first place) to ship it to them to fix it. Very disappointed in the quality of this umbrella and the customer service experience!

...ideal for one or two people, blunt edges take the worry out of poking eyes...light color makes it visible on stormy days when walking high traffic areas...a bit heavy thus would be careful about purchasing as gift...pricey but worth it...
