I got this microphone for my Husband for Christmas and he loves it. The sound is so crisp and clear I could even hear myself in his headphones standing 10 feet away. It also came with a free game code (along with the pop filter and USB hub of course) which was really cool!

Ive owned this mic for 2 years now and its been nothing but problematic. It sounds average from what my friends have said and constantly cuts out if its not in the exact right spot. Paid way too much for crappy quality and no longevity.

After a year and a half the micro usb port stopped working. Reached out to customer service, they responded a day later. The said that it's not replaceable under warranty. I provided follow up information that they asked for and did not hear back. It's a fairly common issue with the usb port on the microphone itself. YouTube guides do exist for how to take the microphone apart but unless you have the equipment and experience with soldering its not going to end well. I'd suggest getting a microphone with a mini usb port, or something sturdier. The micro usb is antiquated and defective. I have my microphone mounted on an arm and I move it from time to time. I guess the 1.5 years i've had it, destroyed it. It may be fine if you dont move it frequently. the port is on the bottom so it comes in at an awkward angle. ... show more

I picked up this mic for my Son around Christmas time (2020). It was working well, but then then it stopped working. While looking at it the mini USB port had bent pins. Not sure why they use that and not USB-C, but if you buy this be very careful with the port as it will damage easily. If you are set on getting a Yeti, go with the Yeti Pro. Still has the same poor USB connection, but it also has the XLR connection. I did contact them and they did respond to be very quickly so I would give 5 stars to their support. After I was able to send them the needed documentation a new replacement will be here in 2 days, which is about a week after I sent them what they needed. So I can’t complain about that. Go with the Yeti Pro if I were you, but on this the support was outstanding. 3 stars since even on the newer model they are still using an old USB connection. ... show more
