I have been following the BLUE brand for years as they led into studio sound repro with insanely good XLR microphones like the Baby Bottle, Blue Bottle, Bottlecap, and then taking their capsule tech into USB mics like the Snowball and Yeti. They were some of the more expensive mics at first, but with the evolving landscape and competition, on Logitech buying the line and refining the offering - this is a solid bang for your buck. The Yeti is pattern adjustable depending on your needs, the isolator is good as is the extension arm and pop-screen. To get Yeti quality at this price-point with the accessories is a dream come true.     • Microphone is great, but the shock mount doesn't fit, and there really should be instructions
So, I just got this hooked up after trying to find some instructions online on how to assemble the boom arm properly with the microphone. The shock mount was difficult to get around the base of the microphone, and even so it was too tight and had no free motion. Bottom line is: I think the microphone is fantastic, as is the pop filter, but the boom arm really need instructions, you can figure it out eventually but it would be nice to have something on hand. The shock mount is too small for the blue Yeti microphone, there's no room for it to maneuver after you do finally squeeze it in there. ... show more

I haven't had an actual dedicated mic in about 10 years and the second I heard myself talk with this microphone I knew how much of a massive upgrade it was to my stock laptop microphone. The sound quality is fantastic, and it has a bunch of settings that you can change around to fit your situation. The stand is extremely easy to set up- it's basically ready the second you take it out of the packaging and has rigidity to the point where I don't feel like it's going to fall over at all. even though I never got instructions on how to set up the mic and the arm this product is amaz... no fantastic. everything works as it should. maybe the and that screws the microphone could have a more sturdy end, but regardless this microphone has great quality for anything I want to use it for. Simple to use, easy to set up, and anyone that wants a great bang for your buck this is exactly what you are looking for in a mic. Highly recommended as a starter mic and as a professional mic (depending on what you do). Don't hesitate if your looking for quality at a good price, this is it and you wont regret it!! ... show more
