Loffa (Gold) - Overall: I would purchase this again based on the below experience and I love this color. Cutting Image on my Cricut - Great - No issues. Worked Great. Roll looked good out of the box was easy to remove the packaging and tape that held roll together. The image cut beautifully on the cricut. Removing Image (weeding) and Placing it on Product - Great - Weeding the vinyl was relatively easy, but time consuming since the image was so detailed. (see picture to see what image was used). Adhesion - Great - I had no issues with this vinyl and adhesion. This was the very first vinyl image I ever transferred to a product. Therefore, I made a beginner mistake and allowed the transfer tape to touch one section of the image too early. This resulted in me tearing the vinyl in one tiny spot when I removed the transfer tape. In addition, I do see a few tiny air bubbles. However, again that was user error and not a reflection of the vinyl. Once done properly, using transfer tape to place the image on the base was eary. Vinyl had great adhesion. As far as longevity of the adhesion, I can't judge longevity, because I just did them recently so not enough time has passed to rate the longevity of the adhesion. Durability - Great - While burnishing the vinyl down to the base, I saw no wear and tear of the vinyl. No color was removed. Vinyl didn't stretch or break. As far as durability after washing and/or after outdoor exposure I can't speak to that as not enough time has transpired to adequately judge that. Loffa Color Gold...I love this. It is not a metalic gold. It is not a shiny gold. It is a beautiful matte golden brown color. It isn't a yellow gold that you would think of with jewelry or gold bars. It is more the gold color you think of when someone says antique gold. It is defintely a brown/khaki kind of gold, defintely not yellow gold. ... show more

Using my US Cutter Roland-style plotter, this vinyl works like most any good quality vinyl. As long as the blade isn't too deep, it weeds fine. The cardboard roll is also larger than some, and that prevents creasing of the vinyl from being rolled too tightly.

I have had a Silhouette Cameo for several years and until now had used it only for cutting painted sign stencils. I decided to give the glossy black vinyl a try and have enjoyed cutting a few images. I first tried the suggested settings supplied with the vinyl, but found the blade 3 setting was too deep, as it was cutting through the backing paper. I reduced it to a 2 and had no further problems. Some of the designs I cut had intricate lettering which cut and weeded well. I should also note that I just did one pass instead of the recommended two passes and that was sufficient to get good results. I have yet to apply the transfer tape and attach the images but I see no reason that process shouldn't go smoothly. Since this is my first experience cutting vinyl stencils I have nothing to compare it to but based on my experience with this vinyl I would highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Some good things, not my favorite

Pro: • Nice true white. Alot of times vinyl that says white will come off having a more yellow tint in direct sun, this was an actual true white. • Weeding was easy, it didn't do as other products have & stick to other parts of the vinyl when trying to weed. • Nice thick backing on vinyl, makes the vinyl feel sturdier. You just can't use it with extra stick mats. Con: • At first I thought the thick paper backing was good, but it became annoying when part of the backing ripped off & stuck to the mat. Consistently • The sporadic grid pattern on the back. Would have preferred a consistent grid. • The price. 12" x 40ft for $26.99 on Amazon ($0.67/foot) in the higher bracket when it doesn't deliver highest value.
