I was reluctant to try this product due to its small size, but in this case, a little really does go a long way. I was also unsure about the freshness, coming from Amazon; but the can I got from Amazon was much brighter than the bottom of the can that I was drinking from. This chai is the best I have ever had at home. It has strong spice notes of cardamom and pepper and is on par with any chai maker that I have tried, and I live in the San Francisco bay area. You will want to use some kind of milk product to get more of the flavor out and I enjoy it more with some sweetener as well; but you are free to use it as you please, as opposed to other instant powdered chais which can come with powdered milks and sugar. However, Blue Lotus chai is not for the faint of heart - it is strong and spicy but I suspect most chai fans like it that way. ... show more

It taste flavorful, and authentic and it’s easy to prepare. I would make myself chai tea during my quick break as a teacher. I would find that adding creamer made it sweet enough. I also just experimented and added it to a protein smoothie and it was great! It was easy bc it was already in powder form. I was suprised by how little the spoon/dosage was. You can add more in if you need but a nice rounded scoop does the trick. ... show more

I’ve tried so many masala chai mixes and this one is good overall and dissolves well but does have a very strong cardamom taste. If that’s not your jam I’d skip this one.

I don't like making my tea ahead.. I like it fresh...I like Iced Chai without a lot of calories or work & love the subtle sharp spice notes..& a small kick of caffeine!! Love the easy fixability this product offers. I mix [ 1/2 tsp] the powder with hot water 1/2 to 2/3 c] & allow to set til cool, mix in [ about 6 oz] 30 cal almond milk & a tiny splash of 'Skinny Girl Chai' syrup...pour over a tall glass of Ice [ I occasionally blend in my Vitamix] so refreshing!] I had gotten my grand-daughter hooked on chai & now that she is out of nursing school & working long wierd shifts... I decided to try the powered for ease of use to see if it would work for her... PERFECT PICK ME UP!! next up will make some chai tea ice cubes so it doesn't get watered down.... ... show more

I really love making chai lattes! I would buy chai tea bags but I wanted a powder! I knew they existed! It was hard to find a powder with no added sugar or any added ingredients. I wanted the pure chai tea and this was it! I was so happy to find a pure tea powder. Making my lattes are soo much easier and faster and the tea is delicious! When it comes to a price comparison I think spending around the same price for the same amount of cups. Another thing that I didn’t think would be convenient is how it’s a small jar compared to storing 3-4 tea boxes of the same amount of cups. I read so many of the reviews posted about this chai. I purchased it in hopes that I would like it, but unfortunately, after a few tries and adjusting of the milk, the sweetener and other things, I still did not come across to liking it. I read a lot of people that wrote that the pepper was too strong. In my opinion is the ginger. Don't get me wrong, I love ginger and a good ginger tea with lemon and honey, but the flavor of this along with the other spices was not good for me. It does dissolve well and it seems like a good product and easy to use as opposed to waiting minutes for it to brew. This comes with a little spoon and you can mix it with hot water and you don't have to wait or use a colander. In that sense, it is a great thing, but again, the ginger flavor for me, was way too strong. ... show more

I ordered one for the first time. Unfortunately, the first order was just an empty can. Guess it was just a mistake from company. Nevertheless, I chatted with customer service and they gave me a refund. In which I ordered another one for same day delivery. So, back to the review….. It’s great quality and the taste makes me feel as if I’m in Mumbai made fresh. I highly recommend this chai tea! The taste is smooth, creamy and delicious! I made it with milk and followed the instructions on the canister. Great ingredients , you can taste the quality. I can truly say “ the best I’ve tasted so far.” ... show more
