Can these blue ray glasses prevent blue light ? Yes. Included in the box is a tiny blue test light and a special testing paper. If you shine the light directly on the white paper, it immediately turns purple. But if you put the glasses between the light and the paper, the paper stays white! To me, that proves it is working. The deal almost seemed too good to be true for 5 pair, but these glasses are great. The tiny is just slightly yellow, you can tell if you look close enough but its not overly done. They are comfortable and light weight. I wear bifocals, but they are a nuisance to put on just to read. My daughter wears contacts, and needs the readers to be separate, so she ordered these, and sent me the link. I spend a lot of time on my phone and on the computer, and when I finish these tasks, I am not able to read or focus my eyes on anything else. My eyes were itching and burning bad at the end of the day. I was so excited to get these! They are the right strength for readers, but with the added blue light blockers, my eyes are thanking you. I ordered these glasses because they promised a large lens. I couldn't wear my wife's cheaters anymore... they were simply too small for a man's face. I absolutely love these glasses. There's no weird yellow tint like some other blue light blocking glasses. I love that there's a pack of them because I lay them all over my house and then either can't find one or find them all sitting in one spot. I wear them on all of my zooms and I zoom all. Day. Long. These glasses are super cute and the quality is great too! I can't believe it for the price. I am petite so I was afraid these frames would be too large for my face but I kind of like the nerdy look. The only ones I am not crazy about are the black ones but that's just a preference thing. These glasses also come with a blue light tester to make sure they are filtering the blue light.
