There are so many great points about this dress. The fabric is fun with the Swiss dots and travels well. Just fold it up and pop it in the suitcase. The sleeves cover your shoulders for church weddings but aren't long either. Add some jewelry, and you are ready to go. At 5'2 "and middle-aged, I like the length; it's short but not mini. This dress fit very well and was very pretty. There were some strings on it when delivered and a few imperfections but this turned out to be a great dress for a wedding. The dress came a little higher over the knee than I expected but still very nice.

I bought the black dress, XL, because I usually wear a size 12 petite because of my middle age stomach. I'm 5' 3" and the neck was just too low cut on me and it was too big in the shoulders. But, it had a nice chiffon fabric and lining--soft, flowing, not cheap looking at all--very stylish. So then I ordered a L in both the dark blue (not the navy) and black and from two different "companies" (why do various Chinese companies show the exact same dress, sweater, etc, are they all the same company with different names?) to see if sizing was different. Both L's fit perfectly, not tight anywhere. The neck was still a bit low, wouldn't wear it to work. I decided the black color looked better on me and returned the blue dress, but it was a nice shade of dark blue--a midnight blue, not a royal blue. ... show more

Loved the material and fit of the dress except for the length. For reference this is the XL and I am 5'10", normally a size 14/16. I was looking for something that would work for an elopement, and this would have if only longer.
