The rectangular shape of the barrel is my favorite part about these highlighters…but really it’s a tie/close second with the design & functionality of the tip. It’s a chisel tip but more than that, the firmness of it and the ability to use the point of it in fine lining makes it an all around winner. Also worth mentioning is the reduced bleeding. The pens are great and have good pigment. Neither the pens nor the highlighters bleed through pages. However, my one complaint is the highlighters are very very sheer. They require a second pass over the page

I hadn’t explored pens and highlighters for Bibles in years, and I found this set to be really nice. I use the gel pens for note taking in my journal as well, and they work great. The gray pen is a bit difficult to see at times, and the gel ink gets dry a bit easily, which impedes writing and underlining a bit if you’ve put them down for at least a minute. They and the highlighters do bleed a little on really thin paper, but it’s not bad. The light color scheme is genius because it can be seen on the pages you want, but the bleed doesn’t bother the eye on following pages. Overall, they’re a bit moderate in quality but very useful, and even though this wasn’t my first choice of color scheme, I’ve grown to like it a lot. ... show more

I LOVE both the highlighters and pens. They don't bleed through pages. I bought the set mostly for the highlighters, but am so enjoying the pens as well. The colors are beautiful and they write very smoothly.

I got these for school and they are beautiful!! They’re so slick and pigmented. I love them! Although I would not recommend using for thin paper like a Bible or note book paper, these darker colors seep through, including certain pens. I would definitely buy again if needed to. Thank you!

I bought these highlighters/pens to write in my bible because the pages are so thin. The highlighters are cool, light colors and do not bleed through pages. The pens however, are really light and hard to see. The pens do not bleed through the pages, but are harder to see the ink than the highlighters. ... show more
