***Update*** I believe that the bobbins that come in this package are class 15 bobbins which work for many newer sewing machines. Unfortunately they didn't work for mine; however the seller was very proactive in addressing this problem and issued a partial refund for the purchase, as I have already used some of the thread spools. I had no problems with the thread spools and I like the color variety. ******** These bobbins jam my machine. At first I thought it was just me, as I'm very new to sewing, but it's not. You can see in the picture, the bobbin on the right is a bobbin that I wound from the thread spools that came in the package, and the bobbin on the left is the one that came pre-wound. It's slightly fatter, and is held in place by the plate, unable to spin. I have an older Singer machine which you can see in the background of the photo. The threads on the bobbins are also different from the threads on the spools. I'm not sure if the color difference comes across in the picture, as it's very subtle. For some colors you can hardly tell the difference at all. It seems like a slightly thinner thread on the bobbins, though it's extremely close. The very slight spool/bobbin thread difference doesn't bother me since it's so close. ... show more

Honestly you can't beat this color selection at this price. The thread was better quality than I expected for how cheap it was, and I love that the matching bobbins are ready to go for you.

This was an amazing deal. So many bright colors and with prespun bobbins?! You can see that there are no repeat colors either. The thread is on cardboard tubes, but the bibbins are nice plastic (which is good because the machine would eat them up if they were cheap) The bobbins and bobbin case alone made this a worthwhile purchase. ... show more

Not sure the use for this. Maybe making something cheap. Thread is thick and rough. I garment sew. I wouldn't use this. They need to correct their description. My machines are too valuable to chance it.
