Description

Back in the World of the Living, Ichigo Kurosaki has been officially recognized as a Substitute Soul Reaper by the Soul Society. Then trouble comes to Karakura Town in the form of Visoreds, a group of ex-Soul Reapers that have crossed over into the realm of the Hollows. As they try to recruit Ichigo to their side, it is revealed that former Captain Sosuke Aizen is attempting to create an army of Hollows with Soul Reaper powers called Arrancars. It will take Ichigo and friends along with a detachment of Soul Reapers to keep them from destroying the town.

Just received this box set a couple of days ago. The set appears to be in perfect condition. This series has a lot of repetition from episode to episode so an affordable price was key for me. I'm enjoying the season and will keep my eye out for other good buys like this one.

    • Bleach keeps getting better each episode I watch
This boxset is the continuation of the Bount story arc and they have invaded the Soul Society to take revenge for unknown reasons; hence the title "The Assault" on the box. As with the other reviews I've done, Bleach still leaves me wanting more and instead of buying discs separately. I add the boxset months before it comes out to my save it later feature on Amazon, and when it becomes available; might be lower. If you are looking to get any of the Bleach boxsets, Amazon is the place to be to afford. These are like $[...] bucks in the stores and Im getting them for $14 or more off. Still expensive yes, but only place on the net you can get these boxsets for good prices. Plus the series is a good storyline, very rare to find good shows these days. Out of the bleach boxsets, this and The Entry boxsets are so far my favorite seasons because of the direction Ichigo is taking as he is developing his skills and pretty much the fights are bad ass. If Bleach was made into a film, it would be a great film in retrospect to chinese culture films like Fearless and Legend of the Red Dragon, this series has that kind of style in it. Again, if you are an anime fan pick it up. If you are just starting, pick it up but start from the first season or look up story online. ... show more

This box set starts with the entrance of the bounts to the Soul Society and ends with the introduction (just a teaser) of the Vizards. Here are the episodes included with this set: Disc 1: Episodes 92-95 Disc 2: Episodes 96-99 Disc 3: Episodes 100-104 Disc 4: Episodes 105-109 All of the disc also include the production art (which seems nice) and the last disc also includes an interactive game-like option to see all 13 squads' captains and lieutenants. It gives some outdated information (since the series are a lot ahead now), however it is still nice. Since the bounts story is pretty developed, this box set has lots of fighting and full of action. If you liked the bounts arc, like fillers (bounts is the second best filler, coming after Zanpaktou tales - which has not been translated to English yet -), I strongly recommend you to buy it. ... show more

    • Non manga canon filler episodes
I'm probably one of the few manga readers who liked the filler arc with the Bount. What I disliked was when the anime added original characters from the Bount Arc into what should have been canon episodes matching the manga. This frustrated me to no end because I wanted to see all the things I loved from the manga animated beautifully. If you don't want to watch a bunch of filler episodes, you can skip this set. But if you don't want to be completely lost when some really weird little stuffed animals show up in future episodes that make absolutely no sense, then you're gonna want to get this set. ... show more

the show it self is awsome this box set contains episodes 92-109 but the reason i gave it 4 stars is because when i received it in the mail the box sets case was kind of messed up and it said the condition was very good i didnt get to watch it yet and make sure that all the dvds are all working but besides that i would recommend this box set to anyone who likes bleach. =D ... show more
