Description

The wildly fun, vibrant Hydro Rush is one of our most versatile and popular water parks. Kids love all the action, while parents love the quality, durability, and safety. The Hydro Rush has such a variety of great features that every minute of play is exciting. A tough climbing wall stretches to the top of the slide where two overhead sprayers rain down. From here kids can zoom along the long curved slide into the splash pool, where they can fire the water canon. Add the optional play balls for even more fun. With so much going on your kids will play for hours while beating the heat. No more summer boredom. Hydro Rush side view Parents, you will love the sturdy Hydro Rush water park as much as your kids will! Why? Besides being entertained for hours, your children will burn up that extra energy in a healthy way, getting lots of exercise while they play safely. With the inside return path kids don’t need to exit the pool to get to the slide, meaning less grass and debris in the play area, making it easier to keep clean. The generously sized Hydro Rush has enough room to entertain up to 6 kids at once, with room to spare. The unit is lightweight and portable, easy to use, and durable, too. Set-up is a snap. Unroll the water park, stake it down, and attach the UL listed blower (included) that literally inflates the water park in less than two minutes. Fasten on the sprayer system, hook up to a garden hose and you are all set for fun. Built-in flow restriction helps minimize water use. The rugged Hydro Rush Inflatable Water Park is constructed according to Blast Zone’s strict quality and safety standards, using double and quadruple stitched, reinforced polyester oxford. Commercial-grade vinyl is used on the climbing and slide surfaces, adding extra strength and longer life to the unit. As with all our products, the Hydro Rush Inflatable Water Park comes with Blast Zone’s industry-leading warranty and customer support. Top Amazon Reviews

  • Blast Zone Memory Maker!!
So, I'm one of those research oriented people, like, over the top. I spend countless hours reading reviews and best deciding which products to purchase. It can take me days, weeks or even months to agree on a purchase sometimes. In this review I'll explain why I selected this product and this company. Firstly, I'm a huge fan and customer of the company Blast Zone! I knew, if ever in the market for a new inflatable piece, Blast Zone was it. No question. My husband was much more skeptical; mostly because of the price, the simple fact that he despises inflatable products, the size and maintenance that he somehow knew he'd be mostly responsible for etc. With some convincing, we decided on the Blast Zome Hyrdo Blast Inflatable Slide for a combined Birthday gift for our boys. WHY I selected this particular slide? The main reason- the company! Having made purchases from Blast Zone before, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Once I knew I wanted a water slide and would be going through Blast Zone, I just had to figure out which one was best for our family. Though this product is not for commercial use, the materials are commercial grade vinyl, are double and quadruple stitched, warrantied, have a 200lb weight capacity, and are for ages 3+ which suited our needs. After comparing prices and sizes of Blast Zones water slides, this particular slide seemed most manageable for our family without compromising fun factor. SET UP- After receiving our new water slide, we carried everything outside which was heavy (60lbs). we decided on the flattest space to set it up so water could distribute evenly. We spent a few minutes looking over the instructions and making sure everything was done correctly. We set up the blower, and made sure the attached air funnel thing was straight and not being strained. We tied off designated pieces as instructed and ran a long extension cord from the house to power the blower. We then made sure the slide was within distance of the hose to run the water. When all was ready, we hit the switch on the blower and watched as the 8 foot tall slide came to life. After we staked the slide down, it was ready to use! Overall, the assembly/preparation was a breeze. The slide itself inflated in about one minute or so and overall prep time was about 10 minutes I'd say. OBSERVATIONS-Once the slide was up, I walked around to inspect everything and make sure all was functioning as should. The blower was a little bit loud but I knew it would be as I had purchased a bounce house that used one as well. The quality seemed excellent, very durable. The colors were bright and the little water canon was a big hit. At first I observed what I thought was a hole because of the bubbles and sound of leaking air from the stitching but as it turns out, this is normal because the slide isn't air tight and because the blower runs constantly. This is mentioned in the products description! Our boys weren't crazy about the little sprinkler hose that attaches over the archway at the peak of the slide, so instead we laid the hose on the slide to wet the slide enough for the kids to have some fun. We also noticed that the little sprinkler hose was of lesser quality than we anticipated but functioned fine. The slide walls were strong and felt high enough so I didn't have to worry about the kids falling. The designated climbing wall held the kids well and was strong. The water did take forever to fill and was freezing but the kids didn't seem to mind much. The slide recommends one user at a time though I've had three little ones up there with no problem. Even my husband enjoyed a trip down the slide, and though he weighs more than the 100lb user weight limit, the slide held just fine. CONS- Anything notably negative really doesn't have to do with this company or the slide itself, mostly just the fact that it's inflatable and all things you'd expect pertaining to the inflatable factor such as: water doesn't warm up well, waste of water, no drain, risk of puncturing, blower is loud, requires blower when used, has to be taken down when not used, tedious clean up procedure to prevent mold, dead grass, limited use because of weather depending on where you live (I'm in Maine). things like that. I will say the bag the slide comes in was not the easiest to store the slide back into so we resorted to purchasing a large tote on wheels with handle. We found one at Walmart which fits everything perfectly and stores easily! TAKE DOWN- Lots of reviewers had a recurring complaint about mold build up after storing. Because we knew this ahead of time, we formulated a clean up plan. If I knew the weather was going to be nice, we'd unplug the blower, let the slide deflate and leave out to dry for a day or two then inflate again to better dry. Before stowing away, we were very careful to then dry every area of the slide with towels. My husband even utilized the blower itself as fan to help dry. Even after we thought it was dry, we'd let it sit out another hour or so, or sometimes over night. We used our own discretion. After our first summer, we stowed the slide away for the winter in the large tote we bought separately but were unsure what the results would be when we brought the slide back out the following spring. Much to our surprise, NO MOLD, like at all!! It is possible to prevent it, you just need to really take care of it and dry properly. This takes time! CONCLUSION- To give you an idea how great this slide, my husband, the resister of all things inflatable said to me after only out first use with the slide, that just In that one afternoon, he felt we had received our money's worth! I sure felt good about that. This is our second summer with the slide and no problems what so ever! Great buy, money well spent! Our children as well as others have enjoyed hours of fun on the slide and has been a great alternative for beach or pool trips. The quality is excellent. The rounded design at the bottom of the slide isn't my favorite because water splashes out and pools up outside of it, but pay attention to pictures and videos to help you decide if it's right for you. Clean up SUCKS but if you want it to last, take care of it and it will provide years of fun! With the pictures I've provided, you can easily see what this slide has provided for our family; that is countless smiles, infectious giggles, and memories of my boys I'll cherish forever!! ... show more

  • A solution for our Autistic twin son!
My almost 12 year old twin boys LOVE this so much! One twin has autism and is awkward on his feet (toe walks ALOT and hand flaps) but loves water and slides. They can't accommodate to children with disabilities at our nearby Aquatic park where my hubby takes our other twin son that does not have autism. So this year, I brought something home for our autistic twin son's birthday that HE CAN enjoy and in a safe private way. AND he loves to share this with his twin brother as well (his only best friend). They both love it tremendously! One is 102 pounds, the other 98 pounds - each takes a turn down the slide one at a time. It took a bit for our autistic son to learn how to climb up and go down but once he learned (after watching his twin brother) they were unstoppable and had an absolute blast for over 4 hours the first day I put this up! They do have a 12 foot diameter by 36 inch high pool but this breaks up the fun over summer so they both are entertained and getting fun without getting bored doing the same thing. I bought this through Amazon Prime Warehouse deals (new, unopened boxes) but they forgot to include the 9 stakes that hold this down and the patch kit so I am on the hunt for what to do. Water holds this down but when you turn off the blower that inflates this wonderful pool/ slide , things can get blown around even here in Portland, Oregon. Other than the problem of finding where to obtain the stakes for the inflatable item (2 stakes were included for the blower in the sealed box) and the patch kit that I hope we will never need, this is one of the most awesome Birthday Presents that I could ever buy for our autistic twin son. AND he can share this with his twin brother too! They had such a blast with this today! UPDATE: I called the company that manufactures this awesome item and they quickly sent out the missing stakes and patch kit! Such excellent customer service! BIG NOTE: USE Pipe wrap where the garden hose connects to the sprinkler AND on the spray gun. This helps prevents leaks and puts water where you need it most, in the pool area. ALSO I found a way to empty the pool without wasting the water. First I turned off the water to the Hydro Blast. I have a 1/6 HP Submersible Utility Pump 1350 GPH (bought from Harbor Freight) that I have hooked up to our home made Solar heater panel for our pool. I just disconnected it from the solar panel/ pool and put it inside the Hydro Blast pool area. I then attached a garden hose to the utility pump, plugged in the utility pump and used the Hydro Blasts pool water to water my flower/ vegetable garden around our entire front and side yard. It worked like a charm and watered where I needed it, not all over the grass as we usually let go brown in the summer. It only took about 15 minutes to empty the Hydro Blast. I then unplugged the air blower and covered the Hydro Blast with a tarp topped with a few bricks to hold down the tarp. So easy to put up and take down and found a great way to make use of the water! ... show more
