This skirt is soft and the booty shorts underneath seem comfortable. But the waistband is not very stretchy. Based on the measurements, I was between L and XL so I went with the large thinking it'll be fine with the stretch. But I was definitely muffin top if I didn't concentrate to hold myself in. I'm more of a box shape than an hourglass, so if you're like me, size up. Otherwise it looks cute and I'll wear it out to the clubs with something loose to hide the waistband. I'm a size 10, 5'8", 170lb, and the XL would be better than the Large I'm wearing. ... show more

I got this as a part of a costume that needed a mini skirt, and I was very pleased to find one with little shorts underneath. They are more like little hipster panties, I don't feel that the coverage is very extensive, but they are perfect for the length of the skirt - if you bend over or something, it's clear that there is a shorts layer there and you're not flashing anybody. It's super stretchy so there won't be any fit issues unless you go way over or under on the size chart. I got a size L and normally wear a womens size 8-10, it fit very well. ... show more

I should have sized down, but the fit at this size is so nice. My waist is more than a bit smaller than the garment so I will have to alter. Because of that I feel I should have gotten a medium. I'm pear shaped and didn't feel constrained by this skort at a Large, it's really not even snug. Well made and just trim enough to be super fun to wear around - though is probably a bit to form fitting for energetic tennis or pickleball for some. I thought this would have a little more structure as a “skirt”. They are very soft and stretchy and are more casual. The shorts underneath provide coverage and confidence. The fit is good, and it is comfortable. I think it’s great for knocking around, but I wouldn’t wear out to anyplace fancy.
