I’ve bought three rolls of this excellent wire mesh fencing. At 5 feet high, with 2 x 4 inch openings, this fence does the trick. My vegetables are finally safe from rabbits and dogs. The voles inside the garden would be safe too, but a beautiful rat snake named Gloria takes care of those. I should mention that I add a skirt of 24 inch chicken wire, bent to cover 12 inches of ground and 12 inches of fence around the outside of my garden as well. I use metal garden stakes. I had to replace damaged sections of a nylon-coated chain link fence in preparation for a new Saint Bernard puppy. Other vendors were charging more for shipping than the fence itself. After installing 100' of it, I am very pleased with the strength and quality. Much easier to work with than chain link, much less visible, and much easier to install. I bought another 100' feet to finish the job, so that should tell you something. Match it with some good ground stakes and a tensioning system and this fence will not disappoint. ... show more

We have a fence with some gaps that my little dogs can fit through. Instead of spending way more money than we can afford, this was a super easy and affordable alternative. It's a black fence so this blends right in. It can wrap around the open areas and it's thin enough to not be super noticable but thick enough to keep the dogs in. It's also great to use as a barrier. Garden fence. The product is as listed. Shipped quickly. Thank you. Have the right tools. Make sure your wire stays taught. Use plenty of staples. I used 1/4” x 3/4” staples ina pneumatic gun. Nearly 1500 of them. I built the wooden fence as well. This will be a vegetable garden that is within our fenced yard. We have deer issues. ... show more

This mesh roll is nice quality, good welds & paint job, and the black PVC coating should resist sun damage for many years. If you're a homeowner, you know how expensive fencing materials are. This fence roll is a good investment. It may be only 2' tall, but that will suffice to keep most dogs, armadillos, and other small animals out of your garden. Good for garden beds, small row gardens, moss patches, etc. This roll would also be great for building a chicken coop (be sure to use zip ties to lock the panels tightly together), and for skirting around the bottom edge of your house in order to keep armadillos, burrowing turtles, and other such animals from clattering around under the floor & digging under your foundation. Finally, I've found this type of material very good for mechanically stabilizing the ground, so I can build erosion contours to divert stormwater and prevent damage to my house. Just lay it down in the problem area and pour dirt/clay/rocks over it. In time the materials will settle together and the mesh will hold a large patch of ground in place. So it's an option for erosion control that doesn't involve heavy digging, unsightly sandbag walls, concrete, etc. You just layer some stuff on the ground and bam, sturdy flood defense/erosion control system.
