Do not use this on thermal windows! Can damage the seals. I use this product on my single paned back porch windows to block the sun in the summer and it works well. Have used this for years. Bought room darkening blinds and shades for the rest of the house since I have thermal windows.

And I didn't expect much. Works surprisingly well for a visor strip but not as clear as real tint, meaning you can't see crisply though it, but it's dark and blocks the sun well.

I use it for my home windows. Works great hard to cut with a knife. Use scissors.

Its so thick you cant cut it evenly even with a razor blade. Perhaps this application will work well in something like an interior window when you don’t care too much about perfect edges, but I would not recommend for a car as it is too difficult to cut to shape.
