  • Better than I expected
Photos attached. I'm happy with the fix this product provided. Car seats, 2012 Pilot. Easy to use, didn't require any mixing since the seats are black. I used a microfiber towel to get the leather pattern closer to correct. This is the first time I've used this stuff and it seems to be holding up well a week after using it. You can tell I'm not a professional and probably should have done another coat, which I may yet do. Over all, I'm satisfied. ... show more

  • Not quite a miracle, but still would recommend!
I bought this to repair two severe cuts on a vinyl bench cushion. The tears were about 4 inches long and up to a half in wide. After carefully following the instructions, I learned that it takes a lot of paint to get a good bond and cover. I did multiple coats (probably 4-5 total) to get adequate coverage. I also had to get creative to weigh down the vinyl when it was drying so that the edges would adhere to the backing cloth beneath it. After some trial and error, I got full adhesion and coverage. The final product is drastically improved, but still shows signs of what I would call "scar tissue." If you have a large, obvious cut or tear, this product won't make it invisible. It will give you a usable, passable, hard-to-notice repair that is a big improvement over tape or something temporary. ... show more

  • good stuff
this stuff worked better than I expected. Used it on a motorcycle seat, covers well, durable so far, easy to apply. More than I needed in the tube. Would definitely buy again.

  • Could not use didn't understand
Very complicated, I thought the color was supposed to match my leather but idk it was confusing I did not even use. Maybe I just misinterpreted the whole thing but I could not use it.

  • Don’t waste your time and money!
Without a doubt, does not work! Followed the directions to a T! The second someone sat on the repaired spot, it tore again. The ripped area looks 10x worse than when I started. Not only that, but the compound remains sticky….it doesn’t ever fully cure (and we waited 3 days before sitting on it). Absolute waste of time and money! Looks horrendous and my car seat is ruined. ... show more

  • Used on a motorcycle saddle - it worked very well.
I have a 2009 Honda Goldwing motorcycle. I put a lot of stress on the saddle/seat, especially around its stitching. In several places, it started to tear with the largest gap being right where I usually sit, about 1/4". I had some Shoe Goo that I bought on Amazon and while that worked on my sneakers, it didn't hold well on the seat and it also didn't look well. Looking at replacement, heated seats, it's about $1400. So, trying this was worth it. I am about 64" in shoes. When I stop, I let the inertia slide me forward so that my tip toes can reach the ground. Once I start moving, I slide back into the seat in a more comfortable position. That puts a lot of stress on the seat and its stitching. This repair has held up extremely well and today, I even had to use it in the rain. Applying it is with an enclosed paddle, which can be wiped off and re-used. If the separation is greater than 1/4", a piece of under-fabric is included. I didn't need to use that. Because of the width of the separation, I needed to apply it twice, a day apart. It sort-of looks like it's been repaired and with its appearance and durability, I am very pleased. They recommend smoothing it out with rubbing alcohol. I didn't do that. If you have a leather object that you are thinking of replacing because of a tear, you may want to consider using this product first. ... show more

  • Worst product
Bought this to use on a tear on the back of my car’s headrest , followed the directions and watch the video, however, the product doesn’t adhere and I had to use gorilla glue to adhere the leather and then paint the seam with the leather paint kit. Save your money this does not work. Tried several times over to no avail. Had to glue down with gorilla glue first before I could paint. Oh, I did use the white meshycloth they provided and still no luck. Didn’t return it because I had try to use it. Money wasted. ... show more
