I didn’t like the adhesive it was garbage and where I wanted it there weren’t any studs so because of the weight it fell down. I like the shelf a lot and was able to buy some glue to hold it up. It’s important to know if you purchase this floating shelf to hold paper towels you will need to glue the paper towel rack to the top of the shelf or every time you grab a sheet it will fall.     • Be Careful with the screws

Used this to add a shelf in a wood wall in the basement. I drilled a pilot hole and then tried to use an electric drill to screw in the screws. The screw head was mush in 2 seconds. Had to use pliers to remove the screw. Drilled a wider pilot hole and went turtle slow to get the next screws in. Luckily it came with a spare. The screw head covers are a nice finish. ... show more

It’s a shelf. Easy to install. And does shelf things very well. (Lol) I am using it to keep my modem up high and away from other electronics. I like the minimal look and simple design as well.

When mounted on a newly built and definitely plum wall, it leans downward in the front about 3-5 degrees. It's not that noticeable, but it should be at a perfect 90.
