Night and day difference from straight pipe. Put on a 80cc motor and it is crazy how quiet it is in comparison. NO more crazy looks on the road and attention drawn to me. The downside is it cut my top speed down by 5-10 mph and killed my low end (from 35-37 max down to 28-30 max with very slow acceleration) Going to try to take off the baffle and cap to see If I can get some speed back. As long as it is more quiet than a straight pipe I'll keep the modification. If it's still too loud I'll accept the top speed and low end loss. ... show more

THIS EXHAUST IS REALLY SUPER QUIET AND MAKES MY 2-STROKE 49CC 29 INCH MOUNTAIN BIKE FROM HUFFY REALLY SPEED DOWN THE ROAD, HAVE ACTUALLY RECORDED OVER 40MPH IN MY CITY. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WANTING SUPERB RIDING THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GO. I DID PUT A WEED WACKER MUFFLER ON BEFORE I GOT THIS ONE,AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS SUPER LOUD,BUT I STILL GOT THE SAME RESULTS WITH APPROX 5-10 MPH SLOWER. It serves the purpose as well as the more expensive model of the same configuration. I can't compare it to the other configurations cuz I haven't tried them. But it is what I expected and it does the job

    • Crap exhaust gaskets

The exhaust is the run of the mill bike exhausts. For the price it’s fair. I would however recommend new gaskets since the hole is almost 2mm smaller then the port or the exhaust and will not be free flowing whatsoever.

Added this to a small motor that had been straight piped. It really cut the sound down to nothing. Really impressed. I would definitely recommend this.
