I bought this doll to include in an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift, and it is absolutely adorable! The sweet little doll and her backpack are perfect for a toddler (age 2-4). It is small enough to fit inside a shoebox, but large enough for a little girl to hold and rock. I will definitely keep this on my list to purchase again. The only issue to mention is the buckle on the backpack to hold the doll is a little bit tricky. An adult would probably have to help with that. Also, I wish this doll would come with a filled backpack: I had to buy extra clothes, bottles, comb/brush, diapers, etc. separately. It would have been so much easier for this little doll to have her own things already in the backpack. ... show more

    • Car Seat Straps To Fit Around Doll Are Short & Tight
This little AA doll with a backpack for a little girl to carry her (along with some backpack storage) is absolutely adorable. Her facial expression is delightfully happy; her hair is in an Afro style; her clothing is a contemporary little sundress. The dress material matches the backpack. She's aimed for kids age 3+; I would guess she's sized best younger girls (with supervision) up to about age 5. The backpack is small and is not meant for school or overnight use but rather, doll supplies. The doll can be snapped into "car seat-like" straps on the front of the backpack to carry her. Unfortunately, the doll/backpack came in a box that just fits them. I had to really work with it to get the doll snapped into the backpack & then stuffed back into the box. The section the doll fits into has NO room to spare and the strap on the car seat strap is just long enough to fit; hopefully, it will not slip out of the snap. It really needs another couple of inches to be more secure. A young child will likely need adult help to snap the doll in and out. Overall, however, this is a cute set for the current price of $15 and I recommend it. ... show more

I love the concept, having two beautiful brown daughters. It was important to me that they play with dolls that look like them. Overall i simply wish the product was better made with better quality materials.
