Too many pieces and no instructions to build it!

Very time consuming install mainly because the installation instructions seem to be drawn by a 4 year old. Very unclear instructions so I found myself looking at pictures of the finished product to help figure out what pieces went where. I had a few pieces missing labels and we're mislabeled which results in having to take pieces apart to install the correct pieces. I ordered 2 vanities, I have 2 daughters and it took me 8 hours to fully finish both. I will say that once I was finished I was pleasantly surprised with the look and finish of the vanity. My advice is to really take your time making sure everything is tight and screws are secure before proceeding to the next step or it won't be very sturdy. I wouldn't suggest moving the vanity around a whole lot because it's very heavy and not sure it'll hold together very well being moved often. The light on the mirror also isn't as bright as I would have liked but my daughters didn't seem to mind. ... show more

    • Nice but tiny and difficult
The vanity seems very nice quality even though it's not real wood and the finish is nice and smooth. We did have a few scuffs on a couple of the pieces. The mirror is crooked when assembled using the holes provides and it took about 9 hours to assemble using the less than great instructions. A couple of the pieces were numbered wrong and the instructions were not shown clearly when a decorative piece was to be used. My husband has been in the construction field for over 20 years and he had a very difficult time getting this together. It is VERY tiny. Almost for a toddlers play vanity size. There is not much room on the vanity itself and the mirror only opens about 60% of the way. Overall, it's a good quality desk if you need something to fit in a very small area but not the best for easy assembly or a lot of top storage. Wish it had been about $100 cheaper too... ... show more

    • Pieces not marked, damaged and not sturdy.
Too many pieces and not all are marked. The mirror was not attached to the mirror frame. The touch mirror doesn’t work in the front you have to slide the mirror open and touch it through the back. Not very sturdy and the stool is tiny .

I bought it for my wife she put it together mostly I did help on occasion an it went together good directions was all messed up board wasn’t labeled an were the mirror hooks to the dresser that crap want work we use Velcro strip work good we didn’t want send it back we should have

This was difficult to put together, only because the peices had numbers on them and others did not. Some numbers did not coordinate with what the directions said. Those reasons are why I gave a lower assembly rating. Common sense got us through building. Our daughter loves the vanity. The stool is small. Ideal for smaller framed people. The drawers slide smoothly, and the finish is very shiny. It looks fit for a princess. Very nice. It does wobble a little, which is why I gave it the three stars on sturdiness. Works great in small areas and provides ample storage with it's 6 drawers and "hidden shelving" behind the sliding mirror. If I had to pick a downfall it would be that the mirror does not light bright enough. ... show more

Got this for my daughters 16th birthday, we just now opened it and so much was missing. Missing screws,knobs,the whole bench is missing, and more. Half of the wood pieces were super thin and not sturdy, please save your money and time do NOT get this product!
