Just bought a second pair after 8 years of almost daily use the sole is just starting to wear and I’m hard on shoes the leather is scratched and a strap is close to breaking. Never have I had a pair of Birks last this long. I’ve always wore out the soles and was walking on cork and unfortunately it’s harder and harder to find a cobbler to redo them. The closed toe keeps the dirt off the toes. Love these Birks ... show more

I have arthritis is my feet and these shoes have all the support I need without having to add any toe / foot supports. Worth every penny. In years past, I refused to purchase birkenstocks due to sheer cost...but after wearing them and the relief I get from them, theyre worth it. Great shoes! These are my first ever Birkenstock shoes. I bought them for work - I'm on my feet for 8hrs and my feet/legs don't fatigue in these clogs. The size was true and they were comfortable straight out of the box, however it took a couple of days for the shoes to mould to the shape of my feet and then they were super comfortable.
