So the shield IS metal so sitting on it in the back pocket? Not so nice, but the fact that it holds true to it's design and it's sturdy and I've had it a good long while is something that makes this purchase well worth every moment I have it. The wallet is made of a great materials and functions as it should however I did have some qualms with it. For starters the medal shield on the front of mine was slightly crooked, and the pockets for cards are RIDICULOUSLY tight. To the point it was bending my cards. One of the pockets is also unusable due to having the button snaps go all the way through it. If you take away these 2 issues it’s very good leather, and it’s aesthetically pleasing if you don’t hyper focus on the shield. The fact mine was crooked was probably a fluke but who knows. 7.5 out of 10 but I am happy with it ... show more

    • Not a bad wallet
Pretty solid wallet. A bit thicker than what I originally thought. Quality all around, it looks like it took time and care to make. Has plenty of pockets, but with several cards can get a bit bulky. Many reviews here talk about the right most pocket and how it doesn't fit full sized cards. I find it useful for saving receipts or other small pieces of paper no problem, and the wallet itself does have a side pocket underneath the middle card compartment that gives more options to store your cards. Only issue so far has been a small tear in the corner of the wallet due to the tight hook of the chain. It's a bit tough to take off the chain from the wallet, but you wouldn't do that anyway since the wallet chain is pretty good. Overall, worth the 25 bucks. ... show more

It's hard trying to find places that sell the trifold chain wallets. It's a little stiff when new but breaks in easily.
