Gets the job done, I guess. They arrived folded and the crease doesn't straighten out whatsoever. They're super thin and the straps are attached with the tiniest spot of glue. Wouldn't be surprised if they pop off as soon as they're worn. For $13, I expected just a bit more quality. They look like they're from the dollar store. This was a disappointing purchase. Even for how cheap it was, it still wasn’t worth it. The shell is made of a thin foam - think dollar store quality. This makes it really flimsy, it doesn’t hold its shape or sit properly on the back. But much more problematic was the straps. They are maybe super glued on? They are not adjustable in any way so if you buy this for a child it will not stay on. Then The very first time my son wore it, one strap came off. I glued it back on. The second time, the other strap came off. Just really frustrating. If you have other options, I would pass on this product. ... show more

I thought there was some type of foam or stuffing on this, but it is one thin piece of material. If it gets bent I think it will show am obvious crease. It is on the smaller side, but I bought this for a 4 year old. I bought it to use as a Halloween costume but also thought it could stay as part of the dress up box, due to the thinness, I’m not sure how long before it’s bent or ripped. ... show more

This was the perfect addition to my son’s Ninja Turtle costumes. It’s lightweight enough to be comfortable on, and it’s been durable so far through the sometimes rough play time of a three year old boy. I did have to cut the straps shorter and reattach, but it wasn’t hard. If something happens to this one, I’ll definitely be back to order another! ... show more

This shell straps broke moments after my son opened the box. Of course he doesn't want to return it since he taped it up and is playing with it, but what a disappointment. They don't make things like they used to. Definitely not worth $8.99 as this looks like dollar store quality. Next time we'll just make one out of cardboard. ... show more
