    • Zippers and adhesive didn't hold upx3 pairs in 6 months..giving up on billie
The zipper sucks. We've had 3 pairs of these to fit over smos, and they do well for a couple weeks but the zippers didnt hold up and split on 2 pairs and the 3rd the adhesive didn't hold up on the sole of them and they were destroyed after the 1st month of her playing outside. I must add our daughter is a hemi so she uses her left hand to zip both sides. I expected them, since they are designed to zip around a shoe, to be better reinforced. Large waste of money to only get 3 weeks worth from them. On a positive note..if the zipper and adhesive was better they would be perfect for kids like my daughter since it provides independence for them and several color choices too. We have bought quite a few pairs of Billies for two Special Needs granddaughters. This pair was far below quality. They got dirty. We had to wash them as we have all the others. They were one week old and the toes peeled halfway back off of the shoe. Not very happy.

These shoes are great this is prly our 4th pair of Billy shoes, my special needs daughter curls her toes and I couldn't tell sticking her feet in shoes and her toes would be curled til we took shoes off leaving toe cramped and hurting. My daughter recently just got new inserts and had to get new shoes in order to fit the new ones and we had a pair of Billy footwear in the past with her old ones and they lasted her for forever They're very durable she crawls a lot so she kind of wears out like the front part of the shoe a lot but they held together so well I love the colors of them They're so easy to use They make my life so much easier and I just love them I love this company I can't boast about them enough. ... show more

I bought the shoes for a granddaughter who is wearing leg braces. They are little big, which I had planned for, but with all the glitter she loves them! It is much easier to get her to wear the braces when she can wear the glittery shoes.

These are wonderful shoes for my granddaughter that has issues with her ankles. These shoes make it easier to use the braces that she has to wear, however, it would be nice if the shoe could be a little deeper. The braces sit right down into the shoes and there is no lacing up.
