    • Wish I found you sooner, dressing made easy at last
My daughter’s feet are curled inwards and do not straighten out when putting on shoes and it used to take ten minutes sometimes trying to get her foot inside and comfortable. With these shoes it takes a couple of minutes, mostly due to the feet being curled and requiring a lot of positioning. The zipper goes right up once I learned to pull consistently until is it up- don’t stop midway in other words because it has gotten slightly stuck.     • Great For Sure Steps!

I wish I would have found these sooner. It is so nice not to fight with his shoes to get them over his bulky orthodics- sure steps. The only change I wish they would make is offering them in different widths. If they were a little wider they would accommodate the orthodic even better. These and new balance extra wide width shoes are the only ones that work with sure steps now that he is out of the toddler sizes and shoes are becoming narrow.     • These are amazing and work so well for kids with AFO’s
I looked at several stores for a shoe that would fit well over my son’s AFO’s (leg/orthotics braces). It was very hard to find any that you could even slide the AFO’s into. They were either too narrow or you couldn’t get the whole AFO in them. The zipper on these shoes is amazing. Once they are unzipped, it’s so easy to slide the AFO into the shoes. My son also commented on the comfort of these shoes compared to others we tried. It was a win win. Thank you so much for making these. These shoes have been great for me and my son. He wears a brace on his left foot and these shoes make it much easier to get his brace in a shoe. I tend to have two sizes of them going at once, because he only needs the brace for one side of his body and we tend to size up on that side to accommodate the brace. Then he just wears his standard shoe size on the other foot. Also, he has a bit of a drop foot on the left side as well, and it can be a challenge to get his foot in a shoe even without the brace. My 8 yr old daughter absolutely loves this shoes. She likes the fact that it zips all the way around and she doesn’t have to undo the laces. Price is very affordable too. Only downside is that we couldn’t get a 1/2 size.

I Bought these shoes for my nephew for Christmas, we looked on the Billy website and got a size chart. My sister measured his feet while wearing his AFOs to get measurements on his feet. We were hesitant to order as one of his feet is much bigger than the other but we split the difference in the sizes and once loosening the laces they fit! I am so pleased with them! He's worn (fixed) AFOs since he was 6 months old and he's 8 now, and these are by far my most favorite shoes we have gotten! I will be ordering him a pair of low cut ones for summer we loved them so much. Would highly recommend these for anyone with AFOs! I was hesitant on answering the fit question but on his chubby foot all we had to do was loosen the laces and they fit! ... show more

My 10 year old has overpronation of both ankles and flat feet, so the doctor wanted us to get him some shoes that better supported his ankle that fit his inserts. These are an absolute godsend. Great value, great fit.
