This product is actually made for bicycle handlebars, but I repurposed it to extend the handle on my lunch box on wheels. It only extended it about three inches, but it was just enough to stop the cart from hitting my heals when walking. Works great!

    • Won’t support a jam box. Works well tho.

Works well with cell attachment or cup holder. Tried using to support my JBL charge 3. Not enough. Would swing down after a bump. Attachments are plastic with metal bolt. So don’t hulk it. My expectations may have been a bit too optimistic. Very functional and still use it.

Installation was easy. The pain in the a** part came with trying to attach my accessories to it! I first had to buy some handlebar wrapping tape and apply it just to get the bar at a thickness that would accomodate the clamps of my headlight and cell mount. But that meant that the clamp for my Wahoo GPS was TOO wide. Long story short, after almost two hours of wrestling with it, the ex AND a trip to the hardware store for some black electrical tape, the thing is almost right. It's just that now the entire assembly is going to sag just as soon as I hit a bump. I have some tape left so I'll probably cut shims to go underneath the clamps attaching the whole monstrosity to the handlebars. This unit should come with plenty of rubber shims. Period. An entire morning, wasted. I PAID AN EXTRA $23.00-$24.00 TO TRY AND GET THIS TO LOOK RIGHT AND BE STABLE. Now when it gets hot outside all this electrical tape may become a sticky mess. ... show more

    • Can't make them solidly positioned.

As the plastic inserts to make them universally fit most handlebars don't allow permanent positioning, they are always needing to be repositioned. They should come with rubber inserts for specific sized bars. I'd pay the extra now that I know what a pain in the neck it is to push or pull them back where I want them all the time. Works great hard to keep real tight but that's ok . Purchased to add throttle to my ebike . I use my palm to manipulate the throttle , instead of my thumb , keeps my hand closer to the brake

Amazingly horrible quality. The bar is plastic. The ends aren't even cut straight. The hardware feels like it will break on any impact. Luckily I've mounted it upside down so the weight shouldn't Be too big of a problem. The mounting "rubber" is plastic. I used electric tape to mount the brackets.
