Unfortunately, I agree on every point of the other review. I rolled the dice on it, but meh. I'd be embarrassed to give this as a gift too. The lights are held on with big globs of hot glue that are very visible. There were still those hot glue strings all over the mug as well. Which is fine, I'm not too fancy to pick them off. But presentation, you know? Plus the lights don't work. Kind of a big gripe there. No idea why I didn't mention that first, yet here I am. I can get them to flash for a second but I'll be damned if they'll stay on. There's an issue with the connector/connection that I can't seem to fix. The mug itself is actually not bad. It's decently thick glass. Which is why I'm going to see if I can buy some miniature lights somewhere and try to salvage this thing. ... show more

It’s a great idea but very poor quality. The string lights are glued on, and there is glue all over the glass- including a nice glue fingerprint on mine. The battery pack is not glued evenly with the bottom of the mug, so it is not balanced. Cheap enough that I am considering melting the glue spots and readjusting the battery pack. ... show more

The battery compartment and batteries were corroded! The lights were on with giants globs of hot glue, looked like a 5 year old did it.. Not impressed

Trying to turn the lights on was difficult. I had to unscrew the battery area and clean out the threads. The battery came off the glass while trying to turn it on.. I had to hot glue it back on. Once I fixed all that it worked fine. They should make a better product you don't have to go through all that. ... show more

Cute product but where you turn the lights on and off is located directly under the handle and you Have to twist it to turn it on and it detaches from the glass the same thing happens to the lights they fell off the glass before it was ever even used
