This watch was perfect for my Grandson who has Down Syndrome. Helps him with learning to tell time, has digital reading and analog readings. Tracks the number of steps. Tracks heart rate. Has a few games to play, does not need internet connection. Encourages health habits. It is waterproof too! This was an excellent choice for a special needs kiddo! ... show more

  • Happy GreatGranddaughter!!
Color: Lilac
So far, so good. My Great Granddaughter was very happy with her Christmas gift. She has tiny fingers for a 10 year old so it was easy for her to use the numbers and play the games. And the price was right!!

  • 5 year old loves it
Color: Blue
My 5 year old feels so “grown-up” with his “smart watch”. Things that I like: - It was easy to set the time and basic wearer-info when powering it up for the first time. - The HR sensor/history was helpful for me to confirm when he started feeling sick, and when he seemed to be on the mend- I could look back at the heart rate history and see that his HR was 20+ bpm higher than usual and see that we needed to push fluids. - Our kiddo is high-energy and always going, and I have always been curious about how many steps he takes a day. - The games are fun- the 9-slide one is my favorite, but we have also spent some time playing the car racing one and the flappy-bird clone. The flappy-bird clone is pretty hard and I think it may be due to the touch-sensitivity of the screen (more on that below). - I was surprised to see a pulse-oxygenation measurement option. At this price range, I’d take the readings with a healthy dose of skepticism, but nevertheless it might come in handy. Things that could be improved: - The touchscreen sometimes feels like it takes more than one touch or swipe to accomplish what I’m trying to do. Sensitivity could be better. - The watchband, although a good size for a small child, has an annoying ability to not hold the “tail” in the little silicone retention band, and the silicone band seems to easily side to one side or the other, releasing the non-clasp side. I’ll fix it and not even 5 minutes later, the band is not in the right spot to retain the tail again. I’m already looking on Amazon for a different band (which appears to be 22mm by my measurement). - The on-device memory is too low for non-connected use. Although it states that you don’t have to pair to a phone, the watch started making beeps and showing messages that the memory was full a little more than 24hr after starting to use the watch, and it suggested pairing to a phone to sync/free up the space. Originally I had planned to not pair it, and just occasionally review data on the watch, but my son didn’t like the beeps and messages, so we ended up installing the app and pairing the watch on an old phone. - The battery life seems like it averages about 3-4 days. Although it states it is waterproof, we’ve decided it’s most convenient for us to put it on the magnetic charger cable during bath/shower-time and if you do this every day, it seems to keep it charged without having to leave it off the wrist for extended periods of time (and missing out on the continuous heart rate and activity monitoring). The charger cable, BTW is a different magnetic design than I have seen/used before, so be careful not to lose it. Although my list of potential improvements is long, we have to remember that this is a ~$35 smartwatch for kids, and I definitely do not expect it to compare to smart watches costing 10-20x as much. The value of what you get for this price still applies, and I expect most of these little complaints would not even be noticed by kids who are excited to have a grown-up-looking watch that tells time and plays games. ... show more
