  • Functional, fun, and data privacy friendly
Color: Black
Great watch. I bought two kids smart watches to compare features and to see which one would meet my child’s needs. The winner, Biggerfive Brave 2! My child needed more than 5 alarms, this watch has 10! The games on this watch are fun and approved by my 7y/o. I absolutely appreciate that I don’t need to download an app! The privacy policy on smart watches are usually not great, but at least with this watch I have choice. We are pleased with the size and fit. It’s not too bulky. Last but not least, their customer support answered my questions. ... show more

  • 5 year old loves it
Color: Blue
My 5 year old feels so “grown-up” with his “smart watch”. Things that I like: - It was easy to set the time and basic wearer-info when powering it up for the first time. - The HR sensor/history was helpful for me to confirm when he started feeling sick, and when he seemed to be on the mend- I could look back at the heart rate history and see that his HR was 20+ bpm higher than usual and see that we needed to push fluids. - Our kiddo is high-energy and always going, and I have always been curious about how many steps he takes a day. - The games are fun- the 9-slide one is my favorite, but we have also spent some time playing the car racing one and the flappy-bird clone. The flappy-bird clone is pretty hard and I think it may be due to the touch-sensitivity of the screen (more on that below). - I was surprised to see a pulse-oxygenation measurement option. At this price range, I’d take the readings with a healthy dose of skepticism, but nevertheless it might come in handy. Things that could be improved: - The touchscreen sometimes feels like it takes more than one touch or swipe to accomplish what I’m trying to do. Sensitivity could be better. - The watchband, although a good size for a small child, has an annoying ability to not hold the “tail” in the little silicone retention band, and the silicone band seems to easily side to one side or the other, releasing the non-clasp side. I’ll fix it and not even 5 minutes later, the band is not in the right spot to retain the tail again. I’m already looking on Amazon for a different band (which appears to be 22mm by my measurement). - The on-device memory is too low for non-connected use. Although it states that you don’t have to pair to a phone, the watch started making beeps and showing messages that the memory was full a little more than 24hr after starting to use the watch, and it suggested pairing to a phone to sync/free up the space. Originally I had planned to not pair it, and just occasionally review data on the watch, but my son didn’t like the beeps and messages, so we ended up installing the app and pairing the watch on an old phone. - The battery life seems like it averages about 3-4 days. Although it states it is waterproof, we’ve decided it’s most convenient for us to put it on the magnetic charger cable during bath/shower-time and if you do this every day, it seems to keep it charged without having to leave it off the wrist for extended periods of time (and missing out on the continuous heart rate and activity monitoring). The charger cable, BTW is a different magnetic design than I have seen/used before, so be careful not to lose it. Although my list of potential improvements is long, we have to remember that this is a ~$35 smartwatch for kids, and I definitely do not expect it to compare to smart watches costing 10-20x as much. The value of what you get for this price still applies, and I expect most of these little complaints would not even be noticed by kids who are excited to have a grown-up-looking watch that tells time and plays games. ... show more

Color: Blue
This watch is aimed more toward active kids who are in sports or who are trying to live a healthier lifestyle. A great educational tool for children as young as 8 years old up to adulthood. The amount of activities/sports available to choose prior to beginning that sport/activity is very large. To name a few: walking, running, tennis, karate, soccer, skating, swimming (did I mention that it's also waterproof?) hiking, karate, gymnastics, etc. You choose your workout to begin, and the watch will run a timer for the duration of your workout. It also keeps track of your oxygen level and heart rate. The watch has many ways to personalize, such as linking it to your phone's blue tooth and choosing a photo from your phone's photo album to select as your watch face. You can also view text messages and be alerted on incoming phone calls if you choose to opt in. The watch comes with a two prong magnetic charge cord and the watch also features an app. A great watch for a great price with so many uses. Birthday's, Christmas, or as a "just because" gift, this is great for both boys and girls, children and adults. ... show more

  • Not just for kids!
Color: Lilac
I am a grown woman, but I chose this watch to introduce myself to the smart watch world. I really just wanted something to help monitor my sleep, o2, and heart rate. This does all of those things pretty well. It doesn’t always record my sleep, but I have complex sleeping patterns due to insomnia/hypersomnia issues. The heart rate matches my sister’s Fitbit, which is reassuring. I’ve been using this for about 3 days and the battery is at 58% despite me having Bluetooth and notifications on. That’s pretty good for a watch in this price range. I had no issues pairing the watch with my iPhone/bluetooth. It stays connected. The display is vibrant, but of course a bit grainy. You can only store a few wallpapers at a time or else the storage fills up. That’s a little disappointing. Sometimes I tap on the screen and the taps don’t register. Also the step count can be quite off. Love this watch though! It has way more features than I thought and is easy to use! ... show more

  • A great option for kids
Color: Blue
The best part about this is that it does not require a smartphone app. I wish they let you hide the QR code widget in settings but that's forgivable. We've been using these watches with kids for over a month now and they've held up well. If functional but not showy for a 12 year old. The touch screen is responsive and easy to use. The system is laid out pretty well, you don't really need instructions to find anything. The watch weighs just over 30g, which is about the same as an apple watch- big, but not too big to wear all day. The battery lasts multiple days, although the kids like to keep them topped up. The charger cable seems to be a common two-pin two-magnet USB cable that is available off brand in case it gets lost. The screen is bright and clear. We've really had no complaints. Kind of impressed. ... show more
