    • Nice replacement hooks
I'm replacing similar rollerball hooks that deteriorated over time. They were a heavier, thicker metal, but almost all of them started to snap off at the hinge like they were made of fine concrete. Although these hooks don't feel super durable, they were very easy to install (like fastening a pin), roll smoothly, and the light weight makes the curtain and liner glide smoother and faster. They're a great replacement so far but time will tell if they hold up. ... show more

Because I ordered some similar curtain rings previously, from another seller, this review is going to be virtually identical to the review for those previous rings. I got the curtain rings not for my shower, but for the curtains in our front room. The curtain rod is one of those long telescoping rods, and the joint where the inside rod comes out from the outer rod has been a problem (a real sticking point). The plastic O-ring adapter doesn't do much to help traditional curtains rings and hooks to slide any easier across the problematic divide. However, these nifty, beaded curtain rings miraculously enable our curtain to roll over the problematic bump. The beads can actually roll right up and over the rough incline. But we didn't have enough of the rings for all of our curtains, so I keep ordering more. This batch of curtain rings are actually of a superior quality than the previous ones I ordered from another seller. The metal in these is stronger and harder to bend than the metal of the other rings that bent fairly easily. The rings have a tension clip opening, that you close after running the ring/hook through your curtain holes/eyelets. In some of the clips of the OTHER rings, the metal of one side of the clip barely reached to the other side of the clip, so just a little weight put on the clip would pull open the curtain ring. HOWEVER, with THESE, there is no such problem, and all the closures are FIRM and SOLID. Now, all the curtains on our wide front window are equipped with these nifty beaded curtain rings, and we are able to throw open the curtains without any snagging. If your curtains are at all heavy, you'll want to get these superior quality rings, even though they may be about $10 more than cheaper versions. ... show more

I got these to replace virtually identical hooks that lasted about a year. These were 2.5x more expensive, so I took a chance hoping they will last longer. I expected much more for the premium price. I cannot tell any difference. Both claim to be stainless steel. These will have to last 2.5 years to justify the price. ... show more

Notice: The product was received at no charge as part of the Amazon Vine program but this is an unbiased review. The shower curtain hooks are made of metal, and I’m using them to hold up my inner and outer shower curtains. The good thing about these shower curtain hooks is they have rollers at the top to help you slide the curtains open smoothly. The hooks fit through metal grommets at the top of the shower curtains to hold them up, and it fit my curtain rod and grommets perfectly. They look good and the metal rollers actually makes them look better and they’re definitely a different look from the usual plastic ones you typically see. My kid somehow managed to break the curtain rings (but not curtain) in his shower so I went looking for replacements. These seemed like a higher quality option (and more attractive) than the standard plastic rings. Out of the bag, these looked pretty good. There were some minor imperfections in the chrome-plated surface - example shown in one of my pictures - but nothing major. The beads on the rings didn't seem completely uniform, but did help the rings roll over my curtain rod. I have a slight concern with the malleability of the metal used. Assuming the shower rod is already in place, it's necessary to flex the metal open in order to fit it over the rod. In two of my pictures I show the ring when freshly unclipped for the first time vs the ring when it's been bent open to fit around the rod - as you can see, the metal doesn't flex back into shape when you bend it. So after you put it on the curtain rod, you must then bend the metal back to slot into the indent on the opposite side of the ring. This seems like 1. an action which will cause the rings to break if done more than a couple of times and 2. a feature that would allow the rings to deform out of shape over time or if struck with something. Between the minor chrome blemishes and the extremely soft metal, these lost a star from me. I'd still recommend them, but there are probably better options available. ... show more
