This item does contain black tea as well as green tea. It seems to all be decaffeinated BUT both I and my dentist noted darkening of my teeth. I looked on pkg sure enough black tea! You cannot easily find the ingredients listed on the bag when choosing to order. I switched to powder chai after it was too much work keeping up with the concentrate. I drink chai daily (if not multiple times a day) and this tastes good and still packs the same punch. Make no mistake, this is pure sugar, but it is also DELICIOUS, and I drink it every day. I had to find something new since Pacific Chai changed its recipe, and this is just as yummy. So glad I found it.

Let me say my whole family loves it. Blends well with oat milk, whole milk, and almond milk; trust me- we all drink different kinds of milk in my family. I can froth it and make cold chai too. But It isn't the healthiest Chia for our bodies- loaded with sugar and other things. I have looked for a tasty and healthy chai and can't find it. Tastes yummy! Just use a shaker and add ice with water or milk. Best when added with oat milk (in my opinion) and a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a filling snack.
