Cute little board book - slightly larger than my hand (as pictured). The animation is really good and the pictures are really clear. The story line is good and exactly what we did to help our 2 year old transition from the crib to the toddler bed. I gave it 4 stars because the animation and story line are really good and you can’t beat $5 for a board book. Would have been 5 stars if there were a few more pages to the story - this is a really short story, even by toddler standards. ... show more

Elmo helps the little one get ready for change from a crib to a bed. Elmo makes it seem normal and exciting.

I started reading this book to my kid a couple of weeks before we made the transition. He got excited about picking out his sheets, just like Elmo. He also helped build the bed which was also helpful. But this book was awesome. Definitely recommend - no issues transitioning to big bed (except him falling out for a few nights 😅) ... show more

This book is fine but the pictures could use an update. They feature a drop side crib and crib bumpers. It would be great if they updated the photos to todays legal standards since both are now illegal in the US.

My two year old son loves reading this book before bedtime! It isn't an overly long book - which is good for short attention spans or if you have other books you like to read before bed, like we do - but it is perfect for explaining Elmo's transition to a big boy bed! It starts by talking about how Elmo slept in a crib when he was a baby, then he was big enough for a big boy bed. My son loves the pictures, and he loves that Elmo has a favorite toy and blanket that he takes to his big boy bed. Every night when we finish reading the book, he tells Elmo "bye bye" and blows him kisses. :) It is perfect for us!! So happy with this purchase!! :) ... show more
