My mom has macular degeneration and these cards allow her to still play card games. I don’t know why the Bicycle brand labeled these “Large” instead of “Jumbo”. A friend of ours ordered the Jumbo and the print is smaller and busier. The print on the Large of both the numbers and suit symbol are bigger than the Jumbo. The Large are easier to see for her as they don’t have pictures of the Jacks, Queens and Kings, it just has a large J, Q, and K which makes it easier as it cleans up what she has to decipher what to focus her eyes on with less “noise” to filter through. Summary: the numbers and suit symbols are much larger on the cards labeled “Large” than on the “Jumbo” cards. ... show more

    • Great cards for limited sight elderly
Good quality playing cards, for my 101-year-old Mother-in-Law, Helen. She’s a talented card-shark, and needed high-vis cards. The only complaint is that they don’t launder well, when she accidentally dumps them into the clothes washer.

    • WARNING! It only comes with one deck
I like the cards, they are perfect for my mother, but the information is not clear at all. We only received one deck, and I was expecting two. Yes, it was my fault for not looking further into the questions where someone specified that it comes with one, but I shouldn't have to go to search to figure that out. The picture is misleading, and it should say somewhere in the title or the description to the side that it is only one deck and not two. I was disappointed, but my mother wants the second deck that is red so we can play card games together. I'm worried to order another one because how am I supposed to know whether the new deck is going to be red when it could end up being another blue deck. I'm just frustrated with this because I was misled and I have to fix it tediously. Also, I have to pay a total of $16 to have two decks when I can buy a two pack for $10 elsewhere. ... show more
