I noticed these reviews cover several bed models. I bought the low loft full bed/desk/dresser/bookshelf. I was already prepared for the hours of assembly required for this type of furniture. All of the pieces were as tedious and confusing as expected but we got through it. Until the dresser. The instructions have you assemble the entire thing first, before the drawers. You are even instructed to put the back on it. Then you’re instructed to fully assemble the drawers and slide them in. Only….they will not slide in because the rails are the safety type that will not allow a drawer to pull all the way out (to prevent someone from pulling them completely out and risk dropping them). This meant the drawers can not slide in through the front because they stop about five inches in due to the safety rail. There is literally no way to get them in except (I discovered after hours of cursing and crying) to remove the back of the dresser, remove the front of each drawer and slide them in through the back, then attaching the front of each drawer. I figured this out after a lot of trial and error and baffled shrugs by housemates who tried to help. So….ignore the instructions, as they are mostly backwards. Put the frame together, do not install the back yet. Partially assemble the drawers, saving the front piece for last AFTER you slide the drawer in through the back. THEN you can attach the front of each drawer, put the back piece of the dresser on and silently thank me for saving you hours of torture. You’re welcome. The bed itself looks really cool, is comfortable and space-saving - definitely assemble the bed part first so that you can rest up before tackling the #%?!?!!! dresser. ... show more

Bought as a gift for my 15 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Took her a few days to build and takes two people. Note the mattress recommendation size as a thicker one covers up the guard rail which is a safety concern for small kids.

The media could not be loaded. This bed looks great but let me tell you….this PROJECT took us 5-6 hours with minimal distractions or breaks. Get your water bottles and pizza ready because with the amount of wood pieces, and loose adhesive letters that are supposed to be affixed to the wood that were found on the floor, in the box, and attached to other pieces….my anxiety was on a level 10 within an hour of putting this thing together. The bed was delivered in 2 boxes. One was about 95 lbs and the other 50 lbs. Thankfully UPS delivered it because FedEx would’ve destroyed it per usual. We have an awesome UPS delivery guy. He made sure to deliver our boxes “gently” to the door step. Boxes were decent but definitely been through it. Comes with tool and instructions, but we ended up using our own because it ended up stripping the nails halfway through. The bed has tons of ugly nail holes as you can see in the video. I purchased white nail hole covers on Amazon to cover the unsightly mess. Not sure why they didn’t come with the bed. Overall the appearance is great. Bed is a bit wobbly. Our daughter is 9 yrs old and just about about 75-80 lbs so it’s a great size for her. It said it can hold up to 300 lbs but I wouldn’t trust that. I think it’s a good bed for a young child/teen who needs extra space. We double checked everything for safety and made sure we followed all instructions to a T. Definitely not top quality wood but our daughter loves it. (Did not come with the nightstand that’s pictured, only the messy book case lol) ... show more

Took a few hours to assemble, but it wasn’t as complicated as I thought it would be. The all-around shelf is very convenient and versatile; each side can be used for different purposes: a desk, vanity, and extra storage, etc.
