the hardware is sturdy and there were spares for the bolts and a leg adjustable foot. The faux leather feels more like cloth than leather and it’s fairly soft. The seat of the chair feels very firm when sitting on it. I had anticipated it being softer. I was thinking of using it for a desk chair but it’s too heavy to move in and out under a desk. The arms on the chair are just a little too high to go under a keyboard pullout or middle drawer on a desk. The legs have an adjustable leveling foot but, it doesn’t come down far enough on the one leg that is ¼-inch shorter. Using the adjuster as far as possible doesn’t level the chair out. This would be annoying if it were on a tile or wood floor, but hardly noticeable when used on carpeting. The online pictures of the chair only show you a view from the side & front of the chair. They do not show you that the seam down the middle of the back is a zipper (see pictures). The color of the zipper matches the chair material but it’s not completely straight; and my husband and I couldn’t figure out how to unzip it. We concluded that the zipper must only be used to stretch the material over the back of the chair when its’ manufactured. It’s just a little odd looking because we haven’t seen a chair made like that before. We decided that this chair would be good for the bedroom since it looks fine with its back to the wall as shown. ... show more

They advertise their brown as a chestnut brown but it’s a dark brown. Not only that, but the “faux leather” they utilize for the material is like a shimmery thin, cheap fabric that you buy at the dollar store. Requested a refund to return the chairs with two weeks of receiving it and they messaged saying they’d offer $20 refund per chair as “good faith”. Definitely reporting to Amazon and will be fighting for a full refund. False advertising on so many levels. *EDIT*: The seller harassed me to take down this review. It was reported to Amazon and Amazon blocked the seller from being able to contact me any longer and offered a full refund. ... show more
