I purchased this workbench several months ago. Recently, I noticed that the bench surface had developed a crack that ran for about a foot. The crack wasn't currently causing any problem, but I didn't know if it would get worse, so I contacted the seller. They requested pictures, which I sent, and they quickly shipped me a whole new workbench. GREAT, RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I love the workbench. It is solid and has a great drawer for small tools. Assembling the workbench can be confusing, so here are a few comments: For safe shipping, the workbench comes partially assembled, but many parts are not in the right place. The 2 pegboards are both on one leg. They need to be separated and one put on each leg. The bolts holding the leg pieces together are actually used for other purposes. The bolts with black handles are actually used to hold the leg pieces together. The best way to assemble the workbench is to take everything apart and then follow the instructions. A couple of additional comments. The holes on the bottom of the legs which support 1 and 2 screw into are not the same on both sides, because support 1 and 2 have different hole spacing, so you need to make sure the legs are put on facing the right direction. The holes on the bottom of the tabletop are not entirely symetrical, because the holes for the drawer tracks are closer to one side (the side with support 2) Once you see how everything fits together it makes perfect sense. I chose the "Betterhood Height Workbench" as my computer desk due to its reliable and useful power connections. However, while setting it up, I encountered some difficulties and required assistance in comprehending the process. The installation manual could have been more straightforward in explaining how to install the table legs, as it failed to specify the need to remove and reposition the leg attachment rails. This lack of information caused some anxiety, leading me to contact the vendor for aid. They were considerate and prompt in their response, but with careful reflection, I successfully assembled the table on my own. ... show more

Overall, I think the steel legs/frame of this table are amazing. I'm excited for this workbench and it came together pretty quickly once I figured out the proper orientation of the legs (the first few steps are somewhat unclear). However, I have a few initial frustrations with the quality of this where it should be priced $50-60 lower than what you are paying. 1. The bamboo work surface I received was not "finished" to final quality. It's rough and shows adhesive residue. Yes this is intended to be a working surface, but this is not finish quality expected of newly purchased counters. It's uncomfortable to touch with bare hands. I'll have to finish it ( I work in the AEC industry, so I'm familiar with carpentry / finish levels). 2. One of the plastic pieces on one of the legs was broken upon arrival. It's not pivotal but frustrating that it arrived broken out of the box. 3. The drawer is not the most sturdy/aligned. It serves a purpose but a little sticky to push back in. As another viewer pointed out, the counter is actually bamboo material. I'm curious to see how this will hold up. Bamboo is not technically "wood", it's a grass, so the product description is misleading to call the counter wood. I don't mind bamboo, as it's considered a sustainable product, but again this may be too soft for people who want a true working surface and intend to do a lot of hammering/pounding on this counter. I'll be using this mostly as a desk and occasional working surface for hobby projects. ... show more

I had an old folding banquet table in the garage to hold my husband's many batteries and chargers and a heavy Ninja double oven that I use in the Summer. It was starting to bow and I saw this table and ordered it. I figured it was pretty heavy duty when the delivery guy almost had a hernia getting it to the house. This table did not disappoint, it's so sturdy, and the wood top is thick and heavy. The legs are adjustable and it's nice to have it "workbench" height. It looks so professional in the garage unlike the old banquet table. I even bought an extra shelf at a home store and set it on the cross braces of the legs.
