I used some reality terrible led grow lights that had minimal output. It caused my $200 of seedlings to struggle & become severely leggy. I was so desperate for a good grow light & didn’t trust the big box stores and their cheap garbage lights that got me into that mess in the first place. There was a difference in my plants & germination rates immediately within a couple days. I repotted my leggy seedlings & they are happy & thriving. This light is very bright with multiple settings. The blue & white spectrum (VEG) works great for the seedlings. This has a built in fan, so it doesn’t get hot like some of my other grow lights. Update: gave the light another try but this time i used it with my tomato and greek oregano plants, these guys have exploded with vigorous growth using this light especially when i was testing the plant growth between the bloom and veg settings. bloom is a more red-yellow tone good for fruitint plants. veg is a cooler blue-white tone great for germination and seedling growth works alright not the greatest , could be much better at the price point its at. ultimately i went with the $99 ac infinity light board after a couple weeks or so bc this one is lacking in actual usable light to the plants. ac infinity light has a control dial and much much brighter way more worth it + the extra $15-20 it costs go with the ac infinity. i might end up just repurposing this one. ... show more

These lights are awesome! I bought the smaller set use for about a month then bought a bigger light and it really intensified my grow. The bigger version I bought did put out a lot more heat and took me about a week to get my grow room tuned in with the heat/cool ratio which is expected when you are using bigger lights. I like this light and have had good success using it for small single plant growth indoors. The listed power output I measured to be max 950 PPFD at about 6" and about 550 PPFD from 18" using the veg setting.

The light is very bright & puts off a perfect ppdf for a successful grow!!! I liked the first light so much I bought a second for my 4x2 tent and they are working very well! My plants love the veg light so far and are very robust at 47 days in. I have not tried the veg light function yet but assume its as good as the veg and as a result fine. Each one puts out around 400-500w ish worth of light and one would be plenty for a single plant. Only complaint is no dimmer on these so you need to diffuse them with your sprouts using a milk jug, some paper or something else. ... show more
