When you push the release button it is full dump. I bought the pump for a hydraulic lift. Full dump means it slams down when you push release. You can not control the drop. It is very dangerous TO USE A CONNECTING HOSE/"pipe" that has a pressure rating that is LESS than the pump it s connected to! The description says: " The 2 m high-pressure oil pipe offers double protection ..." - BUT The hose is rated at 8,700 PSI and the pump is rated at 10,000 PSI. High-pressure/10.000 PSI hydraulic hose failures can and do cause bodily harm. PLEASE- FOR SAFETY REASONS -- Do not purchase this kit WITH THIS HOSE! I immediately returned it for a refund without unpacking the pump. ... show more

the pump worked as described and I'm happy with the purchase, however the hose that came with it leaked badly and we could not get it to stop, despite all our efforts. Luckily we had our old hose, hooked it up, and no leaks.
