When we bought a new couch we knew we wanted a new coffee table since all we had was a small ottoman from Walmart. It was great for the previous loveseat we had before, but it wasn't large enough for the new couch. I found this one and loved that it was cheaper and had the small edges, as I knew I wanted to place pillows on top so we could put our feet up. The pillows I found fit perfectly with it, and it almost spans the entirety of our couch which is great. I will say because it isnt real wood I don't know how long it will hold up in the years to come, especially with having pets, but having it now for a few months, it's been great. Assembly was pretty easy, I did it all myself without an electric screwdriver. I did have to skip a couple screws as they didn't line up with the holes already placed, but they were in a place I wasn't worried about in terms of sturdiness, but keep that in mind that an electric screwdriver would be better to have for assembly in case that happens. I did spill some wine and it got on the top of the table, and after cleaning it up I saw some spots building up, but they did go away once it dried. I probably wouldn't recommend for people who have young kids as the edges are a danger zone, and as I said previously, the quality is good for the price but not if it is going to be seeing constant action. ... show more

The instructions were a little confusing, so you have to kind of figure it out. Also, the corner edges are very sharp! My son cut his knees every time he walked by it. I had to add acrylic, corner protectors..

Pretty easy to put together, I did it myself in maybe 30 min. It’s exactly what I was looking for and looks great in my living room!! It did come with a small scratch on the top. A little disappointing but not enough to go through an exchange.

I was in need of a table after moving into a new apartment, but was also on a tight budget. I didn't want something super expensive, but I didn't want anything super cheap either. I figured this was a good middle, with most of my interest being in the raised edges at the top of the table ( to catch spills, by its own explanation ). Putting the table together was a relatively painless endeavor, and I did it all solo. Just make sure you read the instructions, because I'm stupid and put the bottom shelf upside down after assembling it. Thankfully the bottom half was easy to unscrew, flip over, and then rescrew it, but worth mentioning paying attention. I deducted a star because both pieces of wood have a sizeable crack in them. I'm not going to bother taking a picture of the other crack, because thankfully it is on the bottom side of the bottom shelf and so is not visible. The crack on the top shelf is visible, but it's nothing some little knicknacks won't hide. It doesn't affect the function in any way, and the cracks seem superficial, so I'm not gonna throw a fit about it. It's also bigger than I thought it'd be, and now I have to rethink of where to place it in my living space. All in all, still a very nice table. No regrets. ... show more

I have no dislikes about this table. Very simple to put together. Space between and bottom and top is big enough to fit the mini chest under there. Matches the color of my floor. Absolutely recommend
