Really cannot say enough good things about these measuring cups. We previously used a set of plastic measuring cups, and when the handle snapped off on one while trying to scoop out a cup full of sugar, we decided to toss the whole set and try out a stainless steel product. I'd never heard of Bellemain before searching for these, but picked these based on the fantastic reviews. The price was a little higher than some competitors but nonetheless, all the reviews seemed to indicate that they were the ones to get. When they arrived, I thought they looked a little cheap in the packaging to be honest...they just come in a fairly plain looking cardboard box that is eerily reminiscent of lower cost import products. But I quickly forgot about that after removing them from the box. The design of these measuring cups is pretty much perfect. The measurement on each one is stamped into the metal handle, so you'll never have to worry about it fading away or wearing off. The cups have a little "nub" on the front of each so that they stack great in a set and lay flat, so they don't take up much space or pop up to jam kitchen drawers like some other sets do. The stainless steel is the perfect thickness...not too thick to be annoyingly heavy, but thick enough that you can tell these things could take a beating and still last for many, many years. Some other reviews had some concerns about the handles being too short. I'm 5'11" with slightly larger than average hands, and I didn't find the handle length to be an issue at all. Still plenty long to easily get a comfortable grip on even the smallest measuring cup. I actually found that I appreciated the short handles, because it makes them much easier to fit in our utensil drawer. All in all, easy five star rating for me. They clean up perfectly whether by hand or in the dishwasher, the measurements are accurate, and I can tell that these will withstand any abuse I throw at them. I'd be surprised if I buy another set of measuring cups anytime in the next 25 years. ... show more

Very sturdy, handles won't bend. Convenient design to scoop and sweep on every size. Non-reactive stainless steel. Stamped measurements won't wear out. Nested design to clip and hold them together and save space. Flat bottom. One piece for easy cleaning. I don't think I would change a single thing about this set! I bought this set because it has no sharp corners, engraved measurements in both English and metric units, and more measurements than most. The only thing I find a little bit odd is the protrusion that helps the cups stack nicely. When I use a cup to extract an ingredient from a bag, the protrusion seems a little bit in the way, but it's not really a problem. I’ve been through a lot of measuring cups - I do a lot of cooking and baking and they just never seem to last, even the metal ones. As soon as I took these out of the package I knew I had hit the jackpot. These are HEAVY and sturdy and they will last forever.

so far so good - it matched the manufacturer's description ...I haven't used this measuring set a ton yet--why I gave 4 vs. 5 stars as not sure i can love it yet; but, here are my first impressions: 1) Good, sturdy, quality set 2) I appreciate that the measurements include ml and engraved -- should last through wash & wear vs.other sets that I own that faded over time. 3) they fit together well, save space - the chain keeps them together for shipping or storage, but, since its kind of 'hokey' & small vs. being on a larger sturdier ring as some sets you probably need to remove and toss it; only problem here - if you toss stuff around in a large drawer like me they may get separated, don't always make it back to same place after dishwashing 4) the outer lip seemed kind of weird to me at first, other reviews talked about being sharp; however, realized its usefulness to level off dry ingredients. overall, good purchase if you bake, cook a lot and yes, higher priced but, I plan on not having to replace this set as I have with cheaper sets. ... show more
