I haven't had these for very long, but so far these are doing a good job, just as they were intended for. I can't say that I have tested these for their "Shatterproof" ability, and don't plan on it if I can help that, but they do seem stable & strong whenever I hold them. Good size. Easy to grip and hold onto. Overall nice aesthetic appeal to them. Would recommend them to anyone certainly. I think the price is a tad high, but anyhow. I love the look of my set table using these glasses. The only downside is that getting them out of the dishwasher requires a little drying due to the bottom having a small well and beveled surface traps water. I can live with that because they are so light and clean looking.
