Does not work with Google Pixel 7 Pro. I bought this to replace a really cheap USB-C to 3.5mm / USB-C splitter that did not work with my new Pixel 7 Pro phone. Belkin electronic are always top notch and figured that maybe the cheap one had crapped out after a few years of being knocked around my travel bag. Build quality is great, I'd love if I could use this with my new phone. Sure enough, this one also did not work with my Pixel 7 Pro as it does not contain the necessary DAC chip. Does NOTHING it claims to. Sound only from one channel, at half the volume, no mic capability, charging is intermittent. I can’t believe the Apple continues to recommend this company. They make garbage. And even if it does work properly, which this one doesn’t, it works for a short period of time, and then that’s it. And they want you to fork over even more money to replace it. $35 for this is highway robbery. The production on this converter is probably about two dollars. Belkin should be ashamed of themselves for charging this much, and for a product that doesn’t work as suggested, and products that continually fail after a short period of time ... show more

I bought this because most new phones don't have a 3.5mm headphone port. But I wanted to be able to listen to calls or music, and also charge the phone at the same time. This device can do that. Or, just use it to listen with headphones. One or both ports can be used at a time. Audio quality is good to my non-audiophile ear. It's not hollow sounding with a good pair of headphones. Digital-Analog Converter (DAC) chips have come a long way in recent years, and are now part of everyday devices. There is a very quiet "hiss" sound between when audio track/sound ends and before the DAC in the adapter shuts off when there's no noise. You'd have to be in a very quiet room to notice it, and it's not an issue for me. Volume is adjusted through the phone's volume control menu, just like with normal listening or calls. Overall it's a great device for modern phones, you can listen and fast charge at the same time. I'm impressed! ... show more

I bought this for my iPad Pro 11" about 2 months ago. I needed a 3.5mm (headphone) audio out but also wanted a power source so I wouldn't have to worry about the battery dying on me. Even though this has a very "cheap" feel to it (plastic, lightweight), it works perfectly and does EXACTLY what I needed. As far as the quality, only time will tell, and if this thing craps out on me within the next few months, I probably will update this review. But for now, it's a pretty easy 5 stars. ... show more

It only last a couple months of normal use. The plug gets loose and it only works if you hold it in a certain position. Works well but the lifespan is bad.

Worked perfectly for about 8 months heavy use for simultaneously charging via usb C and listening thru wired earbuds with 3.5mm jack on 10th gen ipad. Then failed. Kinda expensive for only 8 months use. Update: Figured I’d tempt fate & buy a replacement & appear to be having issues after just 7 weeks. Causing noises such as crackling, popping, and causing my podcasts to just stop playing altogether. ... show more

Didn’t work from the start. No charging and no audio I previously had the lightning version for my iPhone 13 and it worked so well I loved it. So when I got my iPhone 15 I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it failed to work. I have only tried it with one USB cable, which was a non-Apple one that works for charging. I will try with an Apple branded cable. But it should work with a quality USB cables that charged in car regardless. Very disappointed in Belkin as this is a very expensive product. ... show more

I purchased to use with Pixel 8. I've had issues with several adapters I've tried not supporting Pixels. This is the first adapter I've found that works though it only supports slow charging. Audio quality seems good. The connector and cable strength seem good. I purchased to use in the car so I don't have to swap cables when driving. Slow charging is fine for my purpose. I imagine the claim of fast charging is true for other phones but that Pixel 8 doesn't support fast charging over this adapter. ... show more
