This bee suit does exactly what it's designed for. In fact I've now been using mine all Spring and Summer and I've not been stung once. In fact yesterday I jostled the bees a little much and a few came out pretty upset but no matter how many times they landed on me and tried to sting me, they just couldn't accomplish their task. The canvas is thick (be careful in extended direct sunlight). I very much like the elastic bands, one on each arm, which helps keep the arms extended while I put on my gloves. And a stirrup elastic on each leg, which helps keep the pant legs down while I put on my boots. The rest of my comfort is relative, it's a jumpsuit with an attached headpiece. The mesh seems durable, and is fine enough to see through and opperate effectively. The only complaint I have are with the zippers. I have a light touch, and they can be a bear. If you are prone to frustration with jainky zippers, please ask someone for help! However the design of the zipper and velcro to seal up the suit works great, I've had no bees infiltrate the suit. We had wasps make a nest in the tiniest of cracks near our front door. We were going to hire a pest control company, but after doing some research I figured this was something I could do myself. Their numbers had gotten so bad I stopped taking my toddler outside to play. So I ordered this suit, some gloves, and a bottle of Tempo Dust. I considered purchasing a cheaper suit, but decided this was not the time to try and save a few dollars and went with this one. Besides, the suit, gloves, and powder combined were still cheaper than hiring someone to do it. The suit is true to size (follow the chart provided) and the material feels sturdy. I also put on sweat pants and a sweater under the suit, but honestly probably didn't need it (Im allergic to their stings and didn't want to take any chances). Following the advice given in other reviews, I also put on a baseball cap to keep the fabric away from my face. I DEFINITELY would have gotten stung without this suit. Two angry wasps tried their hardest to attack my face, but try as they might my face stayed safe and secure. I climbed the ladder and proceeded to insert the dust into the tiny hole they were using as an entrance. They came out confused and angry buzzing around the entrance trying to understand what disturbed their nest and I stayed perfectly safe. By that afternoon, we were once again playing in our front yard and not a single German Wasp disturbed us. I plan on adding more powder in a week to deal with any hatching eggs. It works great but the fit is atrocious. I’m 5’6” and 135. I ordered a medium and there’s double the torso length. The crotch hangs to the top of my knees when zipped up. That said, it does work great. The legs have zippers to allow for easy pull on over pants. The elastic straps for under the shoe are sturdy and I imagine would keep the pants legs from riding up when a 6’ giant is bending down. The zippers are all sewn on solidly. Really, it works great it’s just made for tall or overweight men. And it’s hot as ——. I lose weight every time I zip that bastard up. I’ll be buying a two piece vented suit next. ... show more

I’m 5’9 and weight 145 and I bought a medium and it fits perfect! Not snug but loose. I wear a ball cap when I am using the suit to ensure my head does not get stung, and it also prevents the bees from stinging your face. It’s made well and I feel it’s a great buy. My son is allergic to bees. We found like 4 hornets nests this year. Man are they aggressive!! We had to get rid of them, my husband got sick of getting stung so I ordered this. Appears to be good quality material. He got rid of multiple nests with it on and I think only got stung one time. He is 6’1” and 200 lbs approx got the xl fits well, he has a large chest as well.     • Very Dangerous Bee Suit

This suit is a rea; piece of junk! The zipper on the head piece broke first use. After fixing it I went into a hive with fairly gentle bees. I started to get attacked in the face when the sun went under the clouds. My fac touching the veil on the bottom was touching my chin. I got stung more than 20 times as I had the hive fully taken down harvesting honey. I too several Benadryl for swelling and then 4 hours later to the emergency room as it became difficult to swallow. Got an Epi shot and a steroid. Better, but my whole face swelled up. There is something definitely missing in this suit. Needless to say. I will never again wear this one! I had a hat on hoping to hold it away from my chin but that simply did not work. Design is fatally flawed! ... show more

Great suit, not a dedicated bee keeper but had to extract a large hive in the eaves on my garage and did not want to kill the bees. No stings, its hot here in Texas but worth the sweat to not get stung. Overall would recommend this product as advertised and the sizing is spot on. Am 6'3" and it fit just right.
